Este estudo analisa a cobertura da Guerra na Ucrânia feita pelo noticiário da manhã da CNN Portugal, compreendendo a importância que a estação atribui à invasão russa mais de um ano e meio após o seu início. Para tal, foi realizada uma análise de conteúdo às notícias sobre guerra exibidas durante quatro semanas, no jornal CNN Novo Dia, tendo sido igualmente realizadas entrevistas semiestruturadas a diversos profissionais envolvidos na produção do noticiário. Os resultados obtidos evidenciam que a Guerra na Ucrânia se mantinha como uma das prioridades do canal no segundo semestre de 2023.
This study analyzes the coverage of the War in Ukraine by the morning news program of CNN Portugal, understanding the importance that the station attributes to the Russian invasion one and a half years after its beginning. To do so, a content analysis of the news about the war, aired over four weeks on the CNN Novo Dia, was conducted. Semi-structured interviews were also carried out with various professionals involved in the production of said news. The results obtained show that the War in Ukraine remained one of the channel's priorities in the second half of 2023.
