Abstract(s)
O presente relatório surge no âmbito da Unidade Curricular Estágio Final e Relatório do Curso de Mestrado em Enfermagem, com especialização em Enfermagem de Saúde Infantil e Pediátrica, do Instituto de Ciências da Saúde da Universidade Católica Portuguesa – Porto. Tem como finalidade explicar o percurso realizado ao longo dos diferentes contextos assistenciais demostrando as competências adquiridas na área de especialização. O estágio desenvolveu-se em diferentes contextos assistenciais, contemplando a área de urgência e emergência pediátrica, a área de neonatologia e a área de cuidados de saúde primários, que perfizeram um total de 750 horas de trabalho, das quais 360 horas foram em contexto de prática e 390 de trabalho individual. Os objetivos definidos para o estágio tiveram em conta as competências propostas no plano de estudos e foram atingidos através de atividades definidas para a sua consecução e pela análise crítico-reflexiva centrada no cuidado à criança e família, atendendo aos quatro domínios da atuação do enfermeiro: Prestação de Cuidados, Gestão de Cuidados, Formação e Investigação. Destacam-se, na assistência especializada as atividades desenvolvidas no âmbito da transição para a parentalidade, da parceria de cuidados, da vinculação e da relação mãe-filho, da amamentação e do controlo da dor na criança, tendo como intenção transversal a promoção, o desenvolvimento e a adaptação da criança, jovem e família aos processos de saúde e doença. Estas competências foram demonstradas, nos diferentes domínios da assistência a recém-nascidos, criança, jovem e família, ao longo do estágio. A metodologia utilizada no documento é descritiva e crítico-reflexiva suportada por pesquisa bibliográfica.
This report arises in the sphere of the Curricular Unit Final Internship and Report, of the Master’s Degree of Nursing in Infantile and Pediatric Health, from the Institute of Health Sciences of the Portuguese Catholic University – Oporto. Its main focus is to demonstrate my experience in different care contexts, emphasizing acquired skills in the specialty area. The internship took place in three contexts, Pediatric Emergency Service, Neonatology and Infantile Health with the duration of 750 hours of work, of which 360 hours were in practice context and 390 of individual study. I defined specific objectives for the different contexts of practice bearing in mind the skills proposed in the studies plan and they were achieved through critical-reflexive analysis of various activities, by which, in turn, were organized in unison with the four professional performance domains of a nurse: Care Provider, Care Management, Training and Research. The main attention areas were transition to parenting, care, mother-child bonding and relationship, breastfeeding and pain control in children. This skills and competences of the different domains were demonstrated throughout the internship through care given to new-born, children, adolescents and family, promoting child development and adaptive capacity in health or disease. The recurred methodology is descriptive and critical-reflexive, based upon bibliographical research.
