Abstract(s)
The aim of this study was to understand the users' perceptions of the street team that accompanies them (ERPO), as well as the measures it implements, which are the Opiate Substitution Programme (PSOBLE); the Syringe Exchange Programme (including the exchange and provision of material for smoking); the Combined Therapy Programme; Psychosocial Monitoring; and Decentralised Consultations (Infectionology, CRI, Clinical Analyses). Using a qualitative methodology, semi-structured interviews were carried out with 6 participants, 4 female and 2 male. The results show that the participants identify various benefits that joining the project has given them, with PSOBLE having added importance. The participants also recognised that the professionals accompanying them are seen as key elements in improving their quality of life. Our study is particularly important because there are still gaps in the literature on the views of PUDs in relation to the intervention they receive. This makes it crucial to analyse public health needs and understand whether they are adequately met.
