Esta dissertação descreve a investigação que fizemos sobre a forma como as
empresas do concelho de Póvoa de Lanhoso estão a enfrentar a chamada Transformação
Digital. Estudamos as Empresas 4.0, as empresas num mundo digital em que as transações
se fazem maioritariamente na Internet, das relações com os fornecedores até às relações com
os clientes, a promoção, o marketing, etc.
Para realizar o estudo, e para além de uma revisão cuidadosa da literatura, recorremos
a quatro instrumentos específicos:
- um levantamento da presença das empresas na Internet, o que fizemos manualmente,
e recorrendo a dados fornecidos pela Câmara Municipal de Póvoa de Lanhoso,
- um questionário a um conjunto significativo de habitantes de Póvoa de Lanhoso e de
concelhos vizinhos, para se perceber qual a sua perceção.
- um questionário a um conjunto de empresas do concelho, para se perceber o impacto
do ponto de vista dos empresários;
- uma entrevista semiestruturada com uma responsável municipal pelo apoio às
empresas do concelho, para se entender a forma como estas transformações estão a
ser percecionadas pelos próprios empresários, e de que modo o apoio disponibilizado
poderá impactar no desenvolvimento da empresa.
Entre o início deste estudo e a sua conclusão ocorreu o surto de CoVid-19, que veio
a afetar negativamente a facilidade de contactar com as empresas, mais ocupadas com os
reflexos negativos da pandemia, mas por outro lado permitiu avaliar a pertinência das
soluções digitais para a própria sobrevivência de muitas das empresas.
O estudo termina com um capítulo de conclusões e de sugestões para trabalhos
futuros.
This present dissertation best describes the research we have done on how the companies of the Municipality of Póvoa de Lanhoso, are facing the so-called Digital Transformation. We study Companies 4.0, companies in a digital world where transactions are mostly done on the Internet, from supplier relationships to customer relationships, promotion, marketing, etc. In order to complete the study, and in addition to a careful review of the literature, we used four specific instruments: - a survey for the presence of companies on the Internet, which we did manually, and using data provided by the Municipality of Póvoa de Lanhoso; - a questionnaire to a significant number of inhabitants of Póvoa de Lanhoso and neighboring municipalities, in order to understand their perception; - a questionnaire to a group of companies in the municipality, to understand the impact from the entrepreneurs point of view; - a semi-structured interview with a municipal officer responsible for supporting companies in the municipality, to better comprehend how these transformations are being perceived by themselves, and how the support provided can impact the company's development. Between the beginning of this study and its conclusion, the CoVid-19 outbreak occurred, which came to negatively affect the ease of contacting companies, which are more occupied with the negative effects of the pandemic, but on the other hand, it allowed us to assess the relevance of digital solutions for the very prevalence of many of the companies. The study ends with a chapter of suggestions and future work.
