Abstract(s)
Os cuidados de enfermagem ao binómio criança/jovem e família, presumem a aquisição de competências no domínio de prestação de cuidados, formação, gestão e investigação, cuja prossecução foi realizada no âmbito da Unidade Curricular “Estágio Final e Relatório”, do Curso de Mestrado em Enfermagem, com Especialização em Enfermagem de Saúde Infantil e Pediátrica. O presente relatório pretende documentar e ilustrar o caminho percorrido, em direção a uma práxis especializada e competente no estágio em contexto de Cuidados de Saúde Primários, Serviço de Urgência Pediátrica e de Neonatologia, tendo utilizado uma metodologia descritiva e crítico-reflexiva, com recurso a pesquisa bibliográfica para lhe conferir um suporte robusto e científico. Foram definidos em cada contexto assistencial objetivos e realizadas atividades que concretizaram a aquisição de competências nos vários domínios. A comunicação, a parentalidade e a parceria de cuidados constituem temas centrais neste relatório, dado a sua transversalidade nos cuidados e importância na área pediátrica. Outros temas considerados na reflexão deste documento são a Saúde Escolar, a amamentação, a assistência a crianças/jovens em situação de urgência/emergência, os cuidados prestados ao recém-nascido em situação vulnerável e crítica, a formação, a gestão e a investigação. Este relatório repercute a consolidação e transposição para a prática de conhecimentos, mediante situações novas, não familiares e complexas, com inerente reflexão sobre as implicações e responsabilidades éticas e sociais. Subjaz, o período desafiante e de aprendizagens, que possibilitou alargar horizontes, questionar práticas, fomentar a reflexão e propulsionar a investigação, alicerçando uma tomada de decisão fundamentada, com incorporação da evidência científica. Como implicações futuras, perspetivo um novo olhar sobre enfermagem, rumo à excelência e à contínua prossecução de autodesenvolvimento profissional e pessoal.
Nursing care to the child/teenager and family binomial, presumes the acquisition of skills in the domain of providing caring services, formation, management and research, which pursuit was made in the scope of the Curricular Unit “Final Internship and Report”, for the Master´s degree in Nursing, with Children and Pediatric Health Nursing Specialization. This report intends to document and illustrate the travelled path, towards a specialized and competent praxis in the traineeship for Primary Health Cares, Pediatric Urgency Service and Neonatology, being used a descriptive and critical reflexive methodology, with the help of bibliographic research to give a robust and scientific support. Each context of assistance goals was defined and activities were made to materialize the acquisition of skills on several domains. Communication, parenting and caring partnership are the main subjects of this report, due to its transversality in caring and the importance at the pediatric area. Other subjects have been considered in this document, such as School Health, breast-feeding, assisting child/teenager in urgency/emergency situation, caring given to the newborn in vulnerable and critical situation, formation, management and research.This report resonates the consolidation and transposition to the knowledge practice, towards new situations, complex and non-parenting, with an inherent reflection about the ethical and social implications and responsibilities. More than this, it is important to enhance the challenging period of learning, which allowed to broaden horizons, question practices, promote the reflection and propel investigation, consolidating a well-based decision making that incorporates the scientific evidence. As future implications, I envision a new look about nursing, towards excellence and the continued pursuit to a professional and personal self-development.
