| dc.description.abstract | Para uma boa convivência entre os homens, é necessário que haja respeito mútuo. Por isso, desde sempre, a Igreja Católica defendeu o respeito pela dignidade humana, e optou pela paz e justiça. As suas encíclicas e exortações sobre questões sociais e dignidade humana fazem um conjunto de documentos sobre a Doutrina Social da Igreja. Na linha do cristianismo, o respeito pela pessoa humana tem os seus fundamentos na criação, como imagem e semelhança de Deus. Por isso, na Exortação Apostólica Pós-Sinodal «Querida Amazónia» do Papa Francisco é fácil perceber que o Sumo Pontífice pensa o futuro com uma Igreja que lute pela liberdade do homem, pelos direitos dos sem voz; uma Igreja que reconheça a riqueza cultural. Este foi, do mesmo modo, o desafio que D. Manuel Vieira Pinto enfrentou na Igreja de Moçambique, a luta pelo respeito da dignidade humana, considerando que o respeito pelo homem e seus direitos é o fundamento da liberdade, da justiça e da paz social para um povo. E o desrespeito desses direitos gera a violência, perseguições; gera o ódio entre os homens. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | For a good coexistence among people, it is necessary to have mutual respect. And the Catholic Church has always defended the respect of human dignity, choosing peace and justice. Its encyclicals and exhortations on social issues and human dignity make up a set of documents on the Social Doctrine of the Church. In the line of Christianity, respect for the human person has its foundations in creation, as the image and likeness of God. Therefore, in the PostSynodal Apostolic Exhortation "Dear Amazonia" by Pope Francis, it is easy to see that the Supreme Pontiff dreams of a future with a Church that fights for human freedom, for the rights of the voiceless; a Church that recognizes cultural richness. This was also the challenge that D. Manuel Vieira Pinto faced in the Church of Mozambique, the fight for the respect of human dignity. Considering that respect for man and his rights is the foundation of freedom, justice and social peace for a people. And the disrespect of these rights generates violence, persecutions and hatred among people. | pt_PT |
