Abstract(s)
O presente Relatório de Estágio surge no âmbito da Unidade Curricular "Estágio Final e Relatório" do 16° Curso de Mestrado em Enfermagem, com especialização em Enfermagem de Saúde Infantil e Pediátrica. O objetivo primário deste relatório é evidenciar o percurso concretizado ao longo do estágio para o desenvolvimento de competências no âmbito da prestação de cuidados especializados na área da Saúde Infantil e Pediatria. O estágio decorreu em diferentes contextos, incluindo o Serviço de Urgência Pediátrica, a Unidade de Cuidados Intensivos de Neonatologia e o Serviço de Internamento Pediátrico, que permitiu desenvolver competências especializadas à criança e família. No presente relatório são descritas as diversas atividades realizadas para a concretização das diferentes competências, bem como uma reflexão crítica apoiada na evidência científica. Ao longo do estágio, foram analisadas e trabalhadas as diferentes competências conforme a unidade curricular de Relatório Final e Estágio, destacando-se a importância do Enfermeiro Especialista em Saúde Infantil e Pediátrica na gestão de cuidados e recursos fundamentais à prestação de cuidados à criança e à família. Também foram abordados temas como a gestão da dor na criança, parentalidade, parceria de cuidados, assistência em situações de complexidade, entre outros. Foi analisada a importância da formação pessoal e profissional, com a oportunidade de realizar formação a pares e desenvolver habilidades do domínio da investigação, de forma particular dar relevo à importância de desenvolver uma prática baseado na evidência. As competências adquiridas durante o estágio e a elaboração deste relatório permitiram o desenvolvimento de novas habilidades. Com isso, consegui perceber a importância do enfermeiro na prestação de cuidados que a criança necessita. Aprendi a realizar diagnósticos de enfermagem e aprofundei meu conhecimento sobre doenças agudas e crónicas em crianças. Além disso, desenvolvi um pensamento crítico essencial para um enfermeiro especialista. Adquiri competências, crescimento pessoal e a capacidade de identificar as necessidades da criança e da família, prestando cuidados baseados em evidências científicas. Este aprendizado permitirá uma prática eficaz e fundamentada na prestação de cuidados como futuro Enfermeiro Especialista em Saúde Infantil e Pediátrica, garantindo sempre a busca por conhecimento atualizado e a excelência no atendimento.
The present Internship Report arises within the curriculum unit "Final Internships and Report" of the 16th Master's Course in Nursing, with specialization in Child Health and Pediatrics. The primary objective of this report is to highlight the path achieved throughout the internship to the development of competences in the context of the provision of specialized care in Child Health and Pediatrics. The internship took place in different contexts, including the Pediatric Emergency Service, the Neonatology Intensive Care Unit and the Pediatry Internship Service, which allowed to develop specialized skills for the child and family. The present report describes the various activities carried out for the realization of the different competences, as well as a critical reflection supported by scientific evidence. Through the internship, the different competences were analyzed and worked according to the curricular unit of Final Report and Internship and the importance of the Nurse Specialist in Child and Pediatric Health in the management of care and resources fundamental to the provision of care to the child and the family was highlighted. Themes such as child pain management, parenting, care partnership, assistance in complex situations, among others, were also addressed. The importance of personal and professional training, with the opportunity to conduct peer training and develop skills in the field of research, was analyzed, in particular highlighting the importance of developing an evidence-based practice. The skills acquired during the internship and the preparation of this report have enabled the development of new skills. With this, I realized the importance of the nurse in providing the care that the child needs. I learned how to perform nursing diagnostics and deepened my knowledge of acute and chronic diseases in children. Besides, I developed critical thinking essential to a specialist nurse. I have acquired skills, personal growth, and the ability to identify the needs of the child and the family by providing care based on scientific evidence. This learning will enable an effective and grounded practice in the provision of care as a future Nurse Specialist in Child Health and Pediatrics, always guaranteeing the search for up-to-date knowledge and excellence in care.
