Abstract(s)
O presente relatório surge no âmbito da unidade curricular – estágio final e relatório inserido no 13º Curso de Mestrado em Enfermagem com Especialização em Enfermagem de Saúde Infantil e Pediátrica da Universidade Católica Portuguesa. Neste relatório são destacadas as competências adquiridas através da experiência profissional as quais devem ser consideradas no processo formativo e justificam a creditação obtida ao estágio do 1º ano do curso. Seguem-se as competências adquiridas ao longo dos três contextos assistenciais que integram o estágio final, optando-se pela sua divisão nos domínios da prestação de cuidados, gestão de cuidados, formação e investigação. É realizada a descrição e análise dos objetivos planeados e das atividades realizadas no serviço de neonatologia, serviço de urgência, unidade de cuidados na comunidade e na unidade de saúde familiar, nomeadamente na amamentação, na promoção da transição para a parentalidade, na parceria de cuidados, na vigilância em saúde, na saúde escolar, na comunicação e na gestão da dor. No final do relatório é apresentada uma reflexão sobre as implicações que este ciclo de estudos trouxe e trará para prática profissional. O presente relatório evidência o percurso que permitiu a aquisição de competências especializadas na área da Enfermagem de Saúde Infantil e Pediátrica, as quais permitiram a otimização do processo assistencial e a prestação de cuidados de excelência à criança e família.
This present report arises from the scope of the curriculum unit – final internship and report inserted in the 13th Master´s Degree Course in Nursing with Specialization on Child and Pediatric Health Nursing at the Universidade Católica Portuguesa. In this report, the skills gained though professional experience are highlighted, which must be considered in the shaping process and justify the accreditation attained for the internship of the 1st year of the course. Following are the skills acquired over the three assistance contexts in the areas of care delivery, care management, training and research. The description and analysis of the planned objectives and activities performed in the neonatology unit, emergency service, community care unit and in the family health unit is carried out, namely in breastfeeding, promoting the transition to parenting, partnership in care, health surveillance, school health, communication and pain management. At the end of the report, a reflection is presented on the implications that this cycle of studies has brought and will bring to professional practice. This report highlights the path that allowed the acquisition of specialized skills in the area of Child and Pediatric Health Nursing, which allowed the optimization of the assistance process and the provision of excellence care to children and family.
