Este relatório aborda as diferentes funções do diretor escolar, quer sejam as tarefas
do dia a dia, quer sejam as enquadradas pelos normativos legais em vigor, e a sua relação
com o órgão que detém funções de supervisão da sua atuação, o conselho geral.
Durante os últimos oito anos de atividade profissional, as competências e
habilidades do gestor escolar foram fundamentais na forma como exerceu a liderança
escolar e atingiu os objetivos da sua organização.
Mas durante este hiato de tempo, as relações entre órgãos administrativos da
escola nem sempre foram pacíficas, existindo conflito e crispação entre os diversos atores.
As competências emocionais do diretor tornaram-se um fator crítico para o retomar do
equilíbrio nas posições divergentes que foram sendo assumidas.
Este trabalho aponta as alterações ocorridas na liderança e competências-chave,
como fator crítico para alcançar o sucesso, quer dos objetivos profissionais, propostos no
projeto educativo, quer dos pessoais, com a reeleição para o cargo, findo os oito anos
descritos.
This report deals with the different functions of the school director, whether they are the day-to-day tasks, whether they are those covered by the legal regulations in force, and their relationship with the assembly that supervises his activities, the general council. During the last eight years of professional activity, the skills and abilities of the school manager were essential in how he exercised school leadership and achieved the goals of his organization. In this gap of time, relations between administrative organs of the school were not always peaceful, and there was conflict and tension between the various actors. The director's emotional competencies have become a critical factor in regaining balance in the divergent positions that have been assumed. This work points out the changes in leadership and key competences as a critical factor to achieve success, both the professional goals proposed in the educational project and the personnel, with the re-election to the position, after the eight years described.
