Abstract(s)
As investigações sobre o papel do diretor de turma na consolidação da
capacidade da escola administrar e gerir a interação entre a escola e a comunidade
envolvente tem sido uma problemática alvo de variadíssimos estudos apresentando já
uma significativa tradição investigativa, nomeadamente no domínio da Sociologia das
Organizações e da Administração Escolar.
Não obstante a veracidade da afirmação supracitada, a importância do papel
desempenhado por este gestor intermédio, dentro das organizações escolares, afigura-se
cada vez mais determinante para o sucesso do processo educativo e estruturante para a
edificação e consecução do Projeto Educativo das escolas, o que imprime a esta
temática uma sempre renovada atualidade.
Numa escola com contrato de associação, dada a sua autonomia administrativa e
financeira, relativamente aos órgãos da administração central, este ator educativo
adquire uma liberdade de atuação que se materializa em projetos diferenciadores e
inovadores, preponderantes para a centralidade do aluno em todo o processo educativo e
para a sua formação integral.
Sendo o objetivo do presente trabalho dar a conhecer o lugar do diretor de turma
no cumprimento das metas do Projeto Educativo do Externato Infante D. Henrique, uma
escola com contrato de associação, mais especificamente no contributo para a
participação das famílias e da comunidade no seio da escola, este relatório apresenta, de
forma fidedigna, uma reflexão teórico-conceptual deste tipo de organizações educativas
e evidencia algumas práticas de efetiva diferenciação nas referidas vertentes.
The investigations about the role of the class director in the consolidation of the school s capacity to administrate and manage the interaction between the school and the community has already been object of several studies presenting a significant research tradition, in particular in the domain of the sociology of organizations and the school administration. Although the veracity of aforementioned statement, the role played by this intermediate manager, inside the school organizations, resembles determinant for the success of the educational process and structuring for the construction and achievement of the School's Project, which prints to this theme an always renewed relevance. In a school with association contract, in order to its administrative and financial autonomy, relatively to the central government agencies, this educational actor acquires a freedom to act that is based on different and innovator projects which contribute for the student's centrally in the whole educational process and obviously for their integral formation. As the present report goal is to illustrate the role of the class director in meeting objectives of Externato Infante D. Henrique, a school with association contract, more specifically in the contribution to family and community participation in the school s routine, this report pretends to present, in a reliable form, a reflection theoretical-conceptual of this kind of organizations and evidence some practices of effective differentiation in the themes referred above.
