Abstract(s)
O Relatório de Estágio surge no âmbito da Unidade Curricular: “Estágio Final e Relatório” inserida no 13º Curso de Mestrado com Especialização em Enfermagem de Saúde Infantil e Pediátrica da Universidade Católica Portuguesa, no Porto. Com o mesmo, pretende-se explicar o percurso formativo desenvolvido para a aquisição de competências especializadas e de mestre na área de enfermagem de Saúde Infantil e Pediátrica. A experiência profissional em assistência pediátrica constituiu um forte alicerce neste processo de aquisição de competências e, os contextos do estágio, permitiram o colmatar e o aprimorar das mesmas. Explana-se, assim, a realidade profissional e o seu contributo no processo de desenvolvimento de competências (competências previamente adquiridas). Posteriormente, as competências inerentes à obtenção do grau de mestre com especialização em saúde infantil e pediátrica são agrupadas em quatro domínios de atuação (Prestação de Cuidados, Gestão, Formação e Investigação) estruturando o relatório numa exposição com carácter reflexivo do caminho que se fez, dos objetivos que foram traçados e das atividades e intervenções de enfermagem que foram realizadas, para o alcance dessas competências. Os aspetos mobilizados ao longo do estágio foram diversos, mas pode-se apontar o desenvolvimento infantil, a vigilância em saúde, a parceria de cuidados, a promoção da parentalidade e o apoio parental em situações de especial complexidade como de particular atenção e aprofundamento. O constante exercício reflexivo e a fundamentação das atividades na evidência científica mais atualizada contribuem para o desenvolvimento de uma prática baseada na evidência, essencial para a prestação de cuidados de enfermagem especializada de qualidade ao binómio criança e família. O processo de aquisição de competências aliado à experiência profissional traz assim um contributo inigualável ao percurso formativo, realçando a importância da formação contínua e do desenvolvimento profissional na área de Enfermagem.
This Practice Report was developed under the scope of the UC: “Estágio Final e Relatório” of the 13th Master’s degree in Nursing, with Specialization in Child and Pediatric Health, from the Universidade Católica Portuguesa, no Porto. With it, it’s intended to explain the course developed for the acquisition of specialized skills and master in nursing child and pediatric health. Professional experience in pediatric care is a strong foundation in this process of skills development and internship contexts improve them. Thus, it’s explained the contribution of the professional reality to the skills development process (previously acquired skills). After, the skills inherent in obtaining a master's degree with the specialization in child and pediatric health are grouped into four areas of performance (Care Delivery, Management, Training and Research) structuring the report in an exposition with a reflective character of the path taken, the objectives that have been outlined and how nursing activities and actions have been carried out to achieve these competencies. The aspects mobilized during the internship were diverse, but can be pointed child development, health surveillance, care partnership, promotion parenting and parental support in situations of special complexity such as particular attention and deepening. The constant reflective exercise and the foundation of activities in the most actual evidence contribute to the development of evidence-based practice, essential for the quality of specialized nursing care to the binomial: child and family. The process of acquiring skills combined with professional experience makes an unparalleled contribution to the academic path, highlighting the importance of continuous training and professional development in Nursing.
