Abstract(s)
Sendo as organizações educativas espaços de mudança e transformação
permanente, analisar-se-á nesta reflexão o papel das lideranças em espaços escolares e o
impacto que estas podem e devem ter no contexto da implementação da Flexibilidade e
Autonomia Curricular.
Num primeiro momento far-se-á uma abordagem teórica dos modelos
organizacionais de escola, destacando-se o modelo racional burocrático e o modelo
simbólico cultural.
Num segundo momento abordaremos a evolução do conceito de liderança e os
tipos e modelos de liderança, especialmente em contexto escolar.
De seguida focar-se-ão as transformações sociais enquanto catalisadoras das
mudanças ao nível das organizações escolares. Neste contexto, analisaremos, numa
perspectiva crítica, mas à luz dos diplomas legais, a perceção de autonomia de escola e
o que se pretende com a implementação do Projeto de Autonomia e Flexibilidade
Curricular (PAFC) para, posteriormente, entendermos em que medida as lideranças
podem potenciar a implementação do mesmo.
A reflexão foi balizada pela bibliografia e trabalho académico, pela legislação
em vigor e pelos documentos internos respeitantes ao Agrupamento de Escolas de
Caldas de Vizela. Tendo estes suportes como base de trabalho, fez-se uma análise das
potencialidades e constrangimentos da implementação da mudança preconizada
naquela organização e apontam-se possíveis estratégias que poderão levar a uma
mudança gradual.
As educational organizations are spaces for permanent change and transformation, we will analyze in this reflection the role of leadership in school spaces and the impact that these can and should have in the context of the implementation of Flexibility and Curricular Autonomy. In a first moment, a theoretical approach will be made to the organizational models of school, emphasizing the bureaucratic rational model and the cultural symbolic model. In a second moment we will approach the evolution of the concept of leadership and the types and models of leadership, especially in a school context. Next, we will focus on social changes as catalysts of changes in school organizations. In this context, we will analyze, in a critical perspective but in the light of legal diplomas, the perception of school autonomy and what is intended with the implementation of the Curriculum Flexibility and Autonomy Project (PAFC) to later understand the extent to which leadership can implementation. The reflection was based on the bibliography and academic work, the legislation in force and the internal documents concerning the grouping in question. Having these supports as a basis of work, an analysis of the potentialities and constraints of the implementation of the proposed change in the grouping was made and possible strategies are identified that could lead to a gradual change.
