O presente documento é o relatório do estágio final do Curso de Mestrado em Enfermagem com Especialização em Enfermagem Comunitária da Universidade Católica Portuguesa. O estágio foi realizado em Moçambique no contexto escolar de uma instituição local constituída por várias comunidades escolares. A problemática abordada foi a Saúde Infantil e Alimentação, dado que o Plano Estratégico para o Setor da Saúde em Moçambique – 2014-2019, demonstra uma elevada taxa de malnutrição especialmente em crianças menores de cinco anos. Desenvolvemos o Diagnóstico do Status Nutricional das Crianças a partir da análise estatística dos dados antropométricos Perímetro Braquial, Prega Cutânea Tricipital, a partir dos quais calculamos a Área da Massa Braquial (AMB) e a Área de Gordura Braquial (AGB) e os respetivos Scores Z. Em paralelo desenvolvemos o diagnóstico da Gestão Comunitária, a partir da matriz de decisão clínica do MAIEC, com os membros da comunidade (encarregados de educação e profissionais de educação). A partir da identificação dos diagnósticos de enfermagem prioritários desenvolvemos a intervenção, constatamos os ganhos em saúde sensíveis aos cuidados de enfermagem comunitária, tendo a comunidade escolar como unidade de cuidados. O projeto, integrado no projeto MAIEC na Nursing Research Platform do Centro de Investigação Interdisciplinar em Saúde da Universidade Católica Portuguesa, foi um contributo para o que se pretende ser um projeto de continuidade. Com este relatório apresentamos o projeto desenvolvido no estágio e uma análise crítico-reflexiva sobre o desenvolvimento das competências especializadas em Enfermagem Comunitária, assim como o desenvolvimento do grau de Mestre em Enfermagem.
This document is the report of the final internship of the Master`s degree Course in Nursing with Specialization in Community Nursing of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa. The internship was done in Mozambique in the school context of a local institution with several school communities. The issue addressed in the present document was Children Health and Food, given that the Strategic Plan for the Health Sector in Mozambique - 2014-2019, shows a high rate of malnutrition especially in children under five years. We developed the Diagnosis of the Nutritional Status of Children based on the statistical analysis of the anthropometric data Brachial Perimeter, Tricipital fold, from which we calculated the Brachial Mass Area (BMA) and the Brachial Fat Area (AGB) and the respective Z Scores. In parallel, we developed the diagnosis of Community Management, based on MAIEC's clinical decision matrix, with community members (parents and caretakers). From the identification of the priority nursing diagnoses we developed the intervention, from which we identified the gains in health sensitive to community nursing care, and the school community as a care unit. The project, integrated in the MAIEC project in the Nursing Research Platform of the Center for Interdisciplinary Research in Health of the Portuguese Catholic University, was a contribution to what is intended to be a continuity project. With this report we present the project developed in the internship and a critical-reflexive analysis on the development of specialized skills in Community Nursing, as well as the development of the Master's degree in Nursing.
