A liderança é essencial para as organizações, uma liderança bem estruturada
resulta em estímulos cruciais para o desenvolvimento dos objetivos da organização, seja
esta de cariz público ou privado. A liderança é considerada como um alicerce para a
motivação dos colaboradores, resultando na obtenção dos compromissos definidos para
a organização. A liderança é destacada consoante o líder, este deve ser o exemplo
máximo da organização, potenciando o seu desenvolvimento, organizando
conscientemente a gestão dos colaboradores e liderando a sua equipa através da adoção
de decisões que não comprometam o bom funcionamento da organização.
A liderança pública ou privada depende de várias características intrínsecas do
indivíduo para conseguir liderar a equipa, estas são pessoais e únicas. A cativação dos
colaboradores deve ser estimulada para que seja possível o seu desenvolvimento, bem
como, influenciar os comportamentos dos colaboradores. Uma correta liderança é
deveras importante, pois é através desta que os colaboradores se sentem confiantes e,
como consequência, se tornem mais produtivos.
Considerando o nosso interesse por esta tão importante temática e tentando
perceber se outros profissionais do setor privado atribuem igual importância, definimos
como principal objetivo: Conhecer a Perceção do Setor Privado sobre a Temática da
Liderança no Setor Público, optandose
por uma tipologia de investigação de cariz
qualitativo, descritivo e transversal. Seguindo esta metodologia, de forma a obter os
dados foram realizadas 15 entrevistas a indivíduos pertencentes ao setor privado.
Considerando as informações obtidas com as 15 entrevistas efetuadas, podemos
constatar que foi possível responder positivamente aos objetivos proposto no estudo.
Podemos realçar que a perceção acerca dos líderes do setor público é tendencialmente
positiva, nomeadamente, quando os entrevistados conseguem enumerar características
relativas à liderança, bem como, momentos onde os líderes necessitaram de colocar à
prova tais características, mencionando alguns casos mais mediáticos, exemplos estes
significativos para determinar se os líderes têm ou não capacidade de liderança.
Leadership is essential for organizations, with a wellstructured leadership resulting in crucial stimuli for the development of the organization's objectives, whether public or private. Leadership is considered to be a foundation for employee motivation, resulting in the achievement of the commitments defined for the organization. Leadership is highlighted depending on the leader, this must be the maximum example of the organization, enhancing its development, consciously organizing the management of employees and leading their team through the adoption of decisions that do not compromise the proper functioning of the organization. The public or private leader depends on several intrinsic characteristics to be able to lead the team. These characteristics are personal and unique to each individual. The captivation of employees must be encouraged so that its development is possible, as well as influencing the behavior of employees. Proper leadership is really important, as it is through this that employees feel confident and, as a result, become more productive. Considering our interest in this very important topic and trying to understand whether other professionals in the private sector attach equal importance, we defined as the main objective: To know the perception of the Private Sector on the Thematic of Leadership in the Public Sector, opting for a typology of investigation qualitative, descriptive and transversal. Following this methodology, in order to obtain the results data, 15 interviews were carried out with individuals belonging to the private sector. Considering the information obtained from the 15 interviews carried out, we can see that it was possible to respond positively to the objectives proposed in the study. We can highlight that the perception of public sector leaders tends to be positive, namely, when respondents are able to list characteristics related to leadership, as well as moments where leaders needed to put such characteristics to the test, mentioning some more media cases, examples of which to determine whether or not leaders have leadership capacity.
