A Rádio Colonial em Angola. Festas e Rifas para Comprar o Emissor é um livro sobre a rádio ouvida e feita em Angola durante a época colonial, do arranque de emissões em ondas curtas da Emissora Nacional (1936) à independência do país (1975). Ao longo do tempo, a radiodifusão seguiu vários caminhos: programas enviados de Lisboa, constituição de rádio governamental em Luanda e de rádios clubes, estes compostos por associações sem fins lucrativos nas várias cidades da colónia, e, no conjunto, organizações dirigidas para escolhas ideológicas a quase ignorarem a população de origem africana, vista como grupo a educar ou simplesmente subversiva. Aqui, incluo programas em línguas nacionais, a indicarem resistência política, e escuta de emissões, caso das elaboradas pelos movimentos de libertação.

Over time, broadcasting followed various paths: programs sent from Lisbon, the constitution of government radio in Luanda, and radio clubs, these were composed of non-profit associations in the various cities of the colony, and, on the whole, organizations directed towards ideological choices that almost ignored the population of african origin, seen as a group to be educated or simply subversive.
