O presente relatório surge no âmbito da Unidade Curricular com o mesmo nome,
do Curso de Mestrado em Enfermagem na área de Especialização em Enfermagem
de Saúde Infantil e Pediátrica, do Instituto de Ciências da Saúde da Universidade
Católica Portuguesa de Lisboa.
Com este documento pretendo relatar de forma reflexiva e sucinta o caminho vivido,
os objetivos formulados, as atividades desenvolvidas e as aprendizagens
efetuadas, no decurso dos módulos de estágio, que compõem a fase final deste
curso.
Os estágios preconizados estão divididos em três módulos. O primeiro é divido em
duas áreas, a de recursos da comunidade, que realizei numa consulta externa de
adolescentes e a de cuidados de saúde primários, que desenvolvi numa unidade
de cuidados à comunidade. Nesta última elaborei um projeto para consulta de
enfermagem do adolescente, realizei diversas atividades de promoção de saúde e
ainda participei em atividades da Comissão de Proteção de Crianças e Jovens. O
segundo módulo dedicado à prestação de cuidados num serviço de internamento
de pediatria, foi concretizado num hospital central, tendo eu desenvolvido material
de suporte informativo para apoio aos adolescentes e pais. O terceiro e último
módulo é dividido em duas áreas, a saber a neonatologia, onde prestei cuidados
ao grande prematuro, e onde também realizei atividades de promoção à
maternidade saudável na adolescência e o estágio de urgência pediátrica, que não
efetuei por ter tido creditação por experiência profissional.
Entre as competências adquiridas destaco algumas, nomeadamente: a promoção
da parentalidade; da capacidade para gerir o regime e da reinserção social; o
diagnóstico precoce e intervenção nas doenças comuns e nas situações de risco;
o reconhecimento de situações de instabilidade das funções vitais e risco de morte
e prestação de cuidados de enfermagem apropriados; a promoção do crescimento
e desenvolvimento infantil; a promoção da vinculação do recém-nascido doente ou
com necessidades especiais; a promoção da autoestima do adolescente e a sua
autodeterminação nas escolhas relativas à saúde.
This report comes as part of the discipline with the same name, integrated on the Master's Degree with specialization in Children and Youth Health of the Health Sciences Institute at the Lisbon Catholic University. With this document I intend to report in a succinct and reflexive way the experience, objectives and the activities as well as the learning carried out in the course modules. The recommended internships are divided into three modules. The first it’s divided into two areas, the community resources, that took place on an adolescent outpatient consultation and the Primary Health Care, which was developed on a Community Care Unit. On the latest I developed a nursing consultation project for adolescents, perform various health promotion activities and still, participate in activities of the Children and Youth Protection Committee. The second module was dedicated to providing care in a pediatric inpatient service, in a central hospital, where I developed information support material to adolescents. The third and final module is divided into two areas, namely neonatology, where I provided care to the premature baby but also, performed activities to promote healthy adolescent maternity, and pediatrics emergency which I didn’t performed due to professional experience accreditation. Among the acquired competencies I outline a few, namely: parentally promotion; the ability to manage social reinstatement; early diagnose and intervention on common diseases and risk situations; the recognition of unstable vital signs situations and death risk and give adequate nursing care; promotion of the development and child growth; promotion of the ill newborn with special needs attachment; self-esteem and self-determination promotion of the adolescent on his heath care choices.
