Abstract(s)
The Class Diary is a sharing and discussion instrument of important issues for a group
of students who spend a great part of the day together, during all the year long.
Are the words from anyone who writes them worthwhile? Is anyone heard from what he
or she has written?
Here is an excelent class of thirty students. In the 7th gr ade they overcame the explosive tension of rival groups and now they wear the same
shirt: the 8th B’s. In the Diary the declarations of happiness for belonging to this group
are then poured. Nevertheless, there are discomfort and disagreement points.
Situations of difficulty that, in another class, would be unnoticed in the urgencies of
daily routine. Not here. Perhaps true consensus are not reached, perhaps a lot will be
unsolved, but a sense of belonging and confidence in the group is built: the base to grow
up
