| dc.description.abstract | As investigações em Psicologia do Trabalho e das Organizações têm analisado os impactos que o trabalho, prescrito ou real, tem nos indivíduos. Sendo o trabalho visto atualmente como central nas vidas e na constituição identitária dos sujeitos, as discrepâncias sentidas no local de trabalho podem conduzir os sujeitos a experienciarem conflitos internos, que por sua vez se refletem em sofrimento que pode ser expresso por diversas vias. O sofrimento, sendo transversal a todos os contextos de vida, pode vir a tornar-se num entrave para o ser humano, caso este não possua estratégias para lidar com o mesmo. Propõe-se nesse sentido um estudo que analise o sofrimento patogénico, mais especificamente a dimensão da Indignidade no Trabalho no contexto português. Para tal, em colaboração com a Ordem e o Sindicato dos Médicos Veterinários Portugueses, foram recolhidas 1425 respostas. Foram aplicados dois instrumentos, o Questionário Sociodemográfico e o Inventário de Riscos de Sofrimento Patogénico no Trabalho (IRST), mais especificamente a dimensão da Indignidade no Trabalho, que se divide em três subdimensões: a Sobrecarga de Trabalho, as Tarefas Laborais e a Organização Laboral. Através dos resultados obtidos é possível perceber que estes sugerem diferenças estatisticamente significativas na perceção de Indignidade no Trabalho em função do género, da idade, da carga horária e do regime laboral. Esta investigação permite perceber que, embora os direitos fundamentais relativamente à dignidade do ser humano no trabalho estejam consagrados na União Europeia, na Constituição Portuguesa e no Código de Trabalho, verificam-se violações severas, pelo que é necessário estudar o seu impacto. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | The investigations in Work and Organizational Psychology have analysed the impacts that the work, prescribed or real, has on individuals. Being the work currently seen as central to the lives and the identity constitution of the subjects, the discrepancies felt in the workplace may lead the subjects to experience internal conflicts that, in turn, are reflected in suffering that can be expressed in different ways. Suffering, being transverse to all contexts of life, can become an obstacle to the human being, if he does not have strategies to deal with it. In this sense, we propose a study that analyzes pathogenic suffering, more specifically the dimension of Indignity at Work in the Portuguese context. To this end, in collaboration with the Order and the Union of Portuguese Veterinary Doctors, 1425 responses were collected. Two instruments, the Sociodemographic Questionnaire and the Inventory of Risks of Pathogenic Suffering at Work (IRST) were applied, more specifically the dimension of Indignity, which is divided into three sub-dimensions: Work Overload; Labour Tasks and the Labour Organization. Through the differences tests, it was possible to emphasize that there are statistically significant differences regarding gender, age, workload and work regime. This research makes it possible to perceive that, although the fundamental rights regarding the dignity of the human being at Work are enshrined in the European Union, the Portuguese Constitution and the Labour Code, severe violations are verified and its impact must be studied. | pt_PT |
