Abstract(s)
A interpretação de fraternidade parte, muitas vezes, de uma relação de
consanguinidade, ou pequeno grupo social, abarcando, frequentemente, num plano
alargado uma universalidade sustentada numa igualdade relacional. Todavia, enquanto
essência das relações humanas num plano social ou de cidadania política parece ser cada
vez mais um resquício limitado a uma esfera do Cristianismo.
Assim, leva-se a cabo um estudo que considera a fraternidade no plano
etimológico, histórico-cristão e literário, tendo em vista um conhecimento, com alguma
profundidade, de fraternidade e das razões que lhe alocaram o epíteto de princípio
esquecido, em alusão ao ocidental e clamado tríptico: Liberdade, Igualdade e
Fraternidade. E, sobretudo, visa-se estabelecer a imperatividade da sua prática em todos
os níveis da vida humana como meio capaz de suplantar os flagelos que condicionam a
sociedade atual.
O presente trabalho, que tem como objetivo principal aferir acerca do contributo
da Unidade Letiva “Construir a Fraternidade” do Programa de Educação Moral e
Religiosa Católica do 5º ano de escolaridade, para além da leitura de fraternidade na
mensagem cristã, analisa o tema à luz da obra O principezinho, de Antoine de Saint-
Exupéry. Por fim, e considerando o objetivo orientador de todo o estudo, é apresentado o
contexto de Prática de Ensino Supervisionada, em consonância com os valores e
propósitos educacionais da disciplina de Educação Moral e Religiosa Católica.
The interpretation of fraternity usually comes from a relationship of consanguinity, or a small social group, embracing, at other times in a broader plan, a universality sustained in a relational equality. However, as an essence of human relationships in a social plan or of a political citizenship it continuously seems a remnant limited to a realm of Christianity. Therefore, it is carried out a study which considers the fraternity in the etymological, historical-christian and literally plans, bearing in mind a knowledge, with some depth, of fraternity and the reasons for assigning the epithet of the forgotten principle, in reference to the West and the so-called triptych: Freedom, Equality, and Fraternity. And, mostly, it aims to stablish the imperativeness of its practice in all levels of the human life as a capable mean of overcoming the scourges that restrain nowadays’ society. The present work, whose main goal is to assess the contribute of the Academic Unit “Build the Fraternity” of the Moral Education and Catholic Religious Program of the 5th grade, besides the interpretation of fraternity in the Christian message, analyses the theme concerning the book “The Little Prince” by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. At last, and considering the guiding aim of the whole study, it is presented the context of the Supervising Teaching Practice, in line with the values and educational purposes of the subject of Moral Education and Catholic Religious.
