Abstract(s)
O Curso de Mestrado Profissional em Enfermagem com a Especialização em Enfermagem de
Saúde Infantil e Pediátrica da Universidade Católica Portuguesa do Porto visa especificamente
a aquisição, desenvolvimento e integração de saberes para a assistência de Enfermagem
avançada ao recém-nascido (RN), criança e adolescente, com especial atenção para a
promoção do desenvolvimento e adaptação aos processos de saúde e doença. Este
compreende a Unidade Curricular Relatório, que pressupõe evidenciar competências
profissionais diferenciadas na área de especialização. O relatório tem por base o estágio
realizado entre 19 de Abril e 27 de Novembro de 2010, em diferentes contextos de assistência
à criança e família, nomeadamente no Centro de Saúde da Senhora da Hora (Módulo I) e nos
Serviços de Neonatologia do Hospital Pedro Hispano e Urgência de Pediatria do Hospital São
João (Módulo III), com o objectivo primordial de descrever as actividades desenvolvidas e
objectivos planeados para adquirir as competências propostas pelo plano de estudos do curso.
Também foi considerada e abordada a experiência profissional prévia na área de Saúde Infantil
e Pediatria, com o inerente desenvolvimento e aquisição de competências. Para a
concretização deste trabalho utilizei uma metodologia descritiva e reflexiva, baseada no
desenvolvimento da minha actividade, tendo recorrido a entrevistas informais com os
enfermeiros, à pesquisa bibliográfica com evidência científica bem como aos registos das
actividades executadas. Num exercício autocrítico e reflexivo sistemático, todo o documento
revela um processo lógico de evolução profissional que considero bem-sucedido.
The Professional Master’s Degree in Nursing with Specialization in Child Health and Pediatric Nursing of Portuguese Catholic University of Porto specifically targets the acquisition, development and integration of knowledge for advanced nursing care to the newborn (NB), children and adolescents with special attention to promoting the development and adaptation to the processes of health and disease. This includes Course Report, which requires different skills evident in the area of specialization. This report is based on the training held from April 19 to November 27, 2010, in different contexts of child care and family, particularly in the Health Center Senhora da Hora (Module I) and Neonatology Service at the Hospital Pedro Hispano and Emergency Pediatrics, Hospital São João (Module III), with the primary objective of describing the activities and objectives planned to acquire the skills offered by the course syllabus. It was also considered and addressed prior professional experience in the area of Pediatrics and Child Health, with the inherent development and skills acquisition. To achieve this study, I used a descriptive and reflective methodology, based on the development of my business, having resorted to informal interviews with the nurses, the research literature with scientific evidence and the records of the activities performed. In an self-critical and reflective systematic exercise, throughout the document reveals a logical process of professional development that I consider successful.
