O presente relatório de estágio tem como objeto de estudo um problema, identificado
em contexto do ensino do Desenho, que se prende com a ausência de referências culturais e
artísticas destes alunos. O Curso Científico Humanístico de Artes Visuais não contempla, até
então, no seu plano de estudos a disciplina História da Cultura e das Artes. Esta unidade
curricular poderia representar uma mais-valia, já que poderia transmitir os diversos e distintos
pontos de vista ao longo dos tempos sobre conteúdos comuns e promover assim a capacidade
crítica e a criatividade de cada aluno, bem como estimular o interesse e o entendimento da
arte.
A metodologia utilizada assenta na investigação e compreensão do problema, orientado
para a reflexão e para a mudança de práticas pedagógicas do ensino do Desenho, com a
abordagem à História da Cultura e das Artes.
As atividades selecionadas com o intuito de atingir os objetivos e serão desdobradas: em
apresentações, durante as aulas, de exemplos de obras de arte. Realizar-se-ão exercícios para
despoletar a atividade crítica individual, o desenvolvimento social e cultural de cada aluno; no
desenvolvimento de eventos culturais, promovendo uma maior capacidade de pesquisa
individual e análise de obras; na elaboração de trabalhos individuais e em grupo, como
montagens de exposições, para estimular a criatividade dos educandos.
Estas atividades serão aliadas à utilização de novos métodos no ensino do Desenho,
com o recurso a imagens e a tecnologias visuais de forma a enriquecer a aprendizagem dos
alunos, na medida em que permitem aos alunos uma reflexão mais sustentada e,
consequentemente, uma interpretação mais crítica sobre as imagens. Todas estas atividades e
metodologias de ensino terão como objetivo melhorar o desempenho dos alunos na disciplina
de Desenho.
The final report has as object of study a problem, identified in context of the teaching Drawing, that is identified with the absence of cultural and artistic references of these students. The Humanistic Scientific Course of Visual Arts does not contemplate, until now, in its syllabus the discipline History of Culture and Arts. This curricular unit could represent an added value, since it could convey the diverse and different points of view, over time, on common contents and promote the critical capacity and creativity of each student, as well as stimulate the interest and understanding of the art. The methodology used here is based on the investigation and understanding of the problem, oriented towards the reflection and the change of pedagogical practices of the teaching of Drawing, with the approach to the History of Culture and Art. The activities selected in order to achieve the objectives described above will be deployed: in presentations, during class, examples of works of art. Exercises will be carried out to highlight the critical individual, social and cultural exercise of each student; in the development of cultural events, promoting a greater capacity of individual research and analysis of works; in the preparation of individual and group work, such as exhibitions, to stimulate the creativity of the students. These activities will be combined with the use of new methods in teaching design, with the use of images and visual technologies in order to enrich students' learning, as it allows students a more sustained reflection and, consequently, a more images. All of these teaching strategies and methodologies will aim to improve student performance in the subject of Design.
