Aquando a visita
When evidencing, during seven years of exercise in a puerperium service, the innumerable difficulties felt by the puerperal woman in what it respects to their self-care and the care of the Newborn, will be questioned as their experiences in domiciliary context during the period of postpartum. The postpartum, is a period marked by great physical and emotional vulnerability to the puerperal woman. This period that entails changes and consequent readjustments to the maternal role. From a different perspective, it is, also, a phase of great transformations in the paternal role and the remaining family. When initiating a path in primary health care, more concretely in the Groupings of the Health Center of Odivelas and face to this problematic that involves the transition to parenthood, it was considered the relevancy of conducting an intervention project in the context of home visits in the postpartum period. With this concern, during the first stage module it was made the diagnosis of the situation that confirmed the problematic situation previously identified. That is, it was found that the first visit postpartum difficulties still persist in the transition to parenthood. This situation reinforced the need to prepare for the second module, an outreach project of home visit in the postpartum period, called "Home visit to Puerperal Woman/ Newborn/Family." During the home visit were observed, in natural environment, inherent difficulties to this critical period that were later analyzed. Inquiring whether the difficulties either in primary health-cares either in hospital context (maternity), the third module tried to make the link between cares to promote healthy parenting and early prevent or minimize the risk factors
