The collected data from the 12 semistructured interviews, with at least one nuclear family member, aim to understand more precise contributions from the participants' personal experiences, and were set up according to the theme’s scientific knowledge. Combining both parts resulted in consolidating the Projeto Systemas - social-family mediation for families of people with disabilities, which aims to improve the quality of life and the well-being levels of the study's target audience and intensify the commitment and responsibility from the community and the social support network.
