A educação para a ciência e a sua comunicação é um campo de estudos complexo.
Qual a melhor forma de ensinar ciência às crianças? Quais as melhores práticas? Será o currículo escolar suficiente para facultar conhecimentos relevantes às crianças? Através do meu estágio na sede espanhola da empresa portuguesa de brinquedos científicos Science4you tive a oportunidade de me sensibilizar para os diferentes métodos de aproximar as crianças de conteúdo científico. Desta forma, procuro problematizar esta importante questão no meu relatório de estágio, refletindo questões da educação e comunicação da ciência num contexto nacional, mas também internacional.
Science education and communication constitutes one of the most complex fields of study. Which is the best way to teach science to children? Which are the best practices? Is the schools’ curriculum enough to provide relevant knowledge to children? Through my internship I had the opportunity to become aware of the different methods of engaging children in scientific content. Consequently, I seek to tackle this important issue in my internship report, while reflecting matters both of science education and communication in a national and international context.
