A presente dissertação visa analisar o governo societário dos bancos. Para isso, procede-se a uma análise dos diversos interesses a ter em consideração, bem como dos conflitos que podem surgir entre eles, no âmbito das estruturas de governo societário implementadas nos bancos. Por fim, e dadas as circunstâncias em que a dissertação é elaborada, a mesma dedica um momento à análise à forma como os diversos interesses foram tidos em consideração na gestão da pandemia, mais concretamente no que à distribuição de dividendos dos bancos diz respeito.
This dissertation aims to analyse the corporate governance of banks. To this end, the dissertation also aims to analyse the different interests to be taken into consideration, as well as the conflicts that may arise between them, within the scope of the corporate governance structures implemented in banks. Finally and given the circumstances in which the dissertation is written, it dedicates a moment to analyse how the different interests were taken into consideration in the management of the pandemic, more specifically in what concerns to the bank dividend distribution.
