A formação tem vindo a ter esse importante papel de contribuir para o desenvolvimento pessoal e profissional dos colaboradores, dentro das organizações. O presente estudo pretende avaliar a motivação dos colaboradores, para transferir os conteúdos adquiridos em formação. Cada vez mais, se torna relevante realizar a avaliação da formação nas organizações, por forma a apurar em que medida foram atingidos os objetivos em termos de aprendizagem e, mais concretamente, de que forma é que essa aprendizagem foi transferida para o local de trabalho. Optou-se por realizar uma investigação numa empresa nacional do setor privado, ligada ao ramo agropecuário, com à amostra de 114 colaboradores utilizando-se, como instrumento de investigação, um questionário de autorresposta que permitiu avaliar o desenvolvimento de competência, a perceção de utilidade da formação, as crenças de autoeficácia dos colaboradores, a vinculação afetiva à empresa e a motivação para transferir os conteúdos formativos. Os resultados, apontaram que o desenvolvimento de competências tem forte influência sobre a motivação para transferir. Os resultados obtidos por este estudo estiveram alinhados com o seu principal objetivo, que constituiu desenvolver estratégias pertinentes para os responsáveis das formações, dentro das organizações que almejam desenvolver o grau de motivação para transferir a formação para o local de trabalho.
Organizational training contributes has gained an important role in contributing to the personal and professional development of the contributors inside organizations. The present study intends to evaluate the motivation behind the transfer of the knowledge acquired in the training. It is relevant for organizations to carry out a training assessment to determine when the learning objectives were achieved and to verify the extent to which this learning was transferred to the workplace. The instrument used for this study was a multiple-choice questionnaire that was carried out in a sample of 114 employees from a national private company of the agricultural sector. The questionnaire application allowed an assessment of the competency development, the usefulness perception of the training, the employee’s beliefs on self-efficacy, their affective bond to the company and their motivation in transferring the contents from training to others. The results revealed a strong influence that competency development has over the motivation to transfer. In addition, the results gained from this research confirms on alignment with the main objective, the development of strategies relevant to those responsible for the training within the organizations, aiming to develop the degree of motivation to transfer the training to the workplace.
