Abstract(s)
O presente documento foi elaborado no âmbito da Tese Final de Mestrado
(TFM) em Finanças realizado na OneVetGroup, S.A., tendo como tema “análise
de Rácios Financeiros: o caso da OneVetGroup, S.A.”.
A OneVetGroup é um grupo veterinário que atualmente detém dezoito
unidades veterinárias em todo o país que está em crescimento e evolução em
todos os seus departamentos.
Para uma correta análise da situação económico-financeira da empresa foi
elaborado um estudo de rácios onde foram estudados níveis de rentabilidade,
de atividade e de liquidez.
Este estudo analisa, com recurso aos rácios fundamentais, uma análise
económico-financeira a OneVetGroup, S.A. e o sector de prestação de serviços
medico-veterinários em Portugal. Para conseguir obter conclusões criteriosas
foram analisados, entre outros, a forma como a empresa opera ao nível da
gestão de tesouraria e o financiamento de curto prazo.
As principais conclusões obtidas foram que relativamente ao sector o grupo
se encontra em boa situação financeira tendo alguns aspectos, nomeadamente
ao nível de prazos de recebimento, que poderá ainda desenvolver.
Espera-se com este trabalho criar uma nova analise à situação económico-
financeira da empresa que permita ser uma mais-valia para a tomada de
decisões.
This document was prepared under the Final Thesis Master (TFM) in Finance held in OneVetGroup, SA, with the theme "ʺAnalysis of Financial Ratios: the OneVetGroup, S.A. case"ʺ. The OneVetGroup is a veterinary group that currently has eighteen veterinary units throughout the country, which is growing and evolving in all its departments. In order to have a correct analysis of the economic and financial situation, I created a study of the ratios, where were studied the levels of profitability, activity and liquidity. Using the key ratios, this study has an analysis of the economic and financial situation and the analysis of the provision of medical-‐‑veterinary services in Portugal. In order to obtain concrete conclusions were analyzed, among others, how the company operates at the level of cash management and short-‐‑term financing. The main conclusions were that the group, in terms of the sector, is in good financial shape, having some aspects that could be developed, especially in payment terms. With this work it is hoped to have created a new analysis to the economic and financial situation, creating an value for decision making.
