- Sensibilidade moral dos enfermeiros avaliada por scoping reviewPublication . Nora, Carlise Rigon Dalla; Zoboli, Elma; Vieira, Margarida MariaEsse estudo tem como objetivo identificar os fatores que influenciam a sensibilidade moral dos enfermeiros nos serviços de saúde, a partir de publicações sobre a temática. Para tanto, realizou-se uma scoping review no período de agosto a dezembro de 2015 em bases de dados da literatura em saúde. Foram incluídos artigos teóricos e originais realizados com estudantes de Enfermagem e equipes de saúde com enfermeiros, publicados em inglês, espanhol e português. A amostra foi de 28 estudos. Da análise, resultaram duas categorias: “fatores pessoais” e “fatores contextuais” da sensibilidade moral. Conclui-se que o fator que tem maior peso na formação/expressão da sensibilidade moral dos enfermeiros são os “fatores pessoais”. A sensibilidade moral tem uma natureza multidimensional, e que precisa ser complementada com uma preparação do enfermeiro para identificar e lidar de forma responsável e prudente com os problemas éticos da prática.
- The archive, gender roles and the deconstruction of Salazarism in Alberto Seixas Santos' Brandos CostumesPublication . Martins, Adriana Alves de PaulaAmong the films that appeared in the aftermath of the April 1974 Revolution, Alberto Seixas Santos’s Brandos Costumes is a singular case. By assuming an essayistic character through which the daily life of Portuguese people is analyzed from a domestic perspective, Brandos Costumes is one of the first films to openly discuss gender and social roles during Salazarism. This essay examines how the use of archival footage contributes, on the one hand, to the discussion of gender roles, and, on the other, to the experimental essayistic nature of Brandos Costumes. I base my argument on the premise that archival images are used to defy the authority of the truth conveyed by Salazar’s regime.

Dix, Steffen; Silva, PatríciaThe Spring and Summer of 1915 saw the appearance in Lisbon of the two issues of the modernist magazine Orpheu. Initially intended as a quarterly, the magazine had a short lifespan and, mainly due to financial pressures, the planned third issue failed to be published. In revisiting the historical circumstances of the generation of Orpheu, this special issue of Pessoa Plural is largely driven by a historiographical aim: to reconstruct the socio-cultural context of the earliest modernist manifestations in Portugal and to sketch a kind of 'sociography' of Orpheu, its milieu and its time, which includes the larger international context of the outbreak of WWI and contemporary phenomena in the cultural field in Portugal and abroad.

- Adesão à higiene das mãos: uma investigação em enfermagemPublication . Colaço, Carla; Pontífice-Sousa, PatríciaA higiene das mãos (HM) é considerada a medida mais simples na prevenção e controlo da infeção hospitalar sendo aquela que provoca maior dificuldade de adesão nos profissionais de saúde. Tendo como objetivo de estudo melhorar a taxa de adesão dos profissionais de saúde à higiene das mãos contribuindo assim para a melhoria das boas práticas, foi realizado um estudo descritivo, exploratório, de abordagem mista que utiliza como método de colheita de dados o questionário e a observação à equipa multidisciplinar (enfermeiros, médicos e assistentes operacionais), de um serviço de cirurgia de um hospital público de Lisboa. Os dados foram colhidos no mês de Maio e Junho de 2016. Os resultados evidenciaram uma baixa taxa de adesão à higienização das mãos podendo-se concluir que existe a necessidade de criar de estratégias de incentivo e momentos de reflexão que estimulem e capacitem os profissionais para a importância do seu papel na prevenção das infeções hospitalares, contribuindo assim para a segurança do doente.

- O drama original : a «kénosis» intradivina segundo Hans Urs von Balthasar no quadro da problemática da (i)mutabilidade e (im)passibilidade de Deus : uma leitura a partir da TeodramáticaPublication . Caseiro, Eduardo Domingues; Martins, António Manuel AlvesHarmonizar o dogma da imutabilidade e impassibilidade divinas com a kénosis do Filho de Deus na sua incarnação e, acima de tudo, na sua paixão nunca foi uma tarefa fácil para o discurso teológico. É verdade que a reflexão teológica ao longo da história, principalmente no período da patrística, soube harmonizar estes atributos divinos com o realismo das experiên-cias humanas do Verbo de Deus incarnado, mas o mesmo não se verifica nalgumas aborda-gens da teologia contemporânea, que chegam mesmo a postular a existência de dor e morte na essência de Deus decorrentes das experiências do Calvário. Na presente dissertação é abordado o contributo de von Balthasar para o tratamento des-te tema no seu diálogo com algumas correntes do pensamento teológico contemporâneo (no-meadamente a Teologia do Processo) e com alguns autores atuais (particularmente, Jürgen Moltmann e Kazoh Kitamori). Neste sentido procura-se encontrar uma nova luz sobre este tema que, sem descuidar do caráter essencialmente dramático da revelação de Deus e dos di-namismos inerentes à incarnação do Verbo, permita continuar a afirmar a imutabilidade e impassibilidade como atributos do Deus vivo e verdadeiro.
- TUGA : a nonverbal screening test for cognitive impairment and dementiaPublication . Machado, William Alexander; Ribeiro, FilipaIn a longitudinal study that lasted 2 years, we assessed 150 subjects (91 control group / 59 dementia group) and compared their results in an experimental nonverbal test (TUGA), for cognitive impairment and dementia, with the results obtained by the same groups in two major screening tests, the Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MOCA) and the Addenbrooke Cognitive Examination Revised (ACE-R). To validate our test and to confirm the frontal assessment characteristics and the non-verbal abstract reasoning nature of TUGA, we also correlated the scores obtained, with the results in two other tests, the Frontal Assessment Battery (FAB) and the Raven Progressive Matrices Standard (RPM-std). Finally, to have a characterization of the level of autonomy of our dementia group and follow any changes on this dimension throughout the study, we have also applied the Barthel Activities of Daily Living Index (BI). The result showed that: (1) TUGA total scores have a strong correlation with MOCA (r=,796, p ≤ ,001) and ACER (r=,761, p ≤ ,001) total scores and a moderate correlation with FAB(r=,551, p ≤ ,001). (2) For an optimal cutoff score of 7.5, TUGA had a specificity of 80% and a sensitivity of 78%, with statistically significant differences with MOCA and ACE-R. (3) The evidences show that in both moments of evaluation, TUGA (78,0% - 96,6%), is not only more sensitive detecting cognitive impairment related dementia, but detects it earlier than ACE-R (6,8% - 66,1%) and MOCA (3,4% - 22,4%). (4) TUGA is as sensitive to dementia patients with frontal lobe deficits and/or with psychomotor slowing. (5) The individual Deck observation of TUGA results, gives useful qualitative and quantitative information about the possible etiology of the scores. (6) TUGA total scores have a moderate correlation with RPM-std (r=,526, p ≤ ,001) and as expected, a very strong correlation with TUGA Deck D RPM-std (r=,914, p ≤ ,001), opening a wide range of clinical possibilities and application areas. These results become even more relevant if we consider the simplicity of TUGA tasks.

- How can augmented reality add value for companies : benefits and challenges of its application in marketingPublication . Kemm, Felicitas Marie; Cyrino, Alvaro BrunoThe present study aims to gain a better understanding of the reasons influencing the use of AR applied in marketing. Besides its promising success in the literature, there is still a risk that Augmented Reality does not add value to the company. Marketers must decide whether and how the technology can be applied in favor of the company. A case study research with three companies using or used Augmented Reality in their business was applied. The data were collected via semi-structured interviews with marketing experts’ from each company. Based on the findings of the interviews, the reasons why companies applied Augmented Reality are: the belief that there is a need for it, a better communication with their customers, the need to appear innovative, and a decrease in the return- and increase in the conversion rate. In fact, this research revealed that after the implementation of Augmented Reality two out of three companies had a better market performance in terms of an increase in the demand, or a better conversion rate, more time spent on the product page with the Augmented Reality tool, and a decrease in their return rate. However, one case also demonstrated that even though an increasing market performance, Augmented Reality can still fail due to reasons such as technical issues.
