Abstract(s)

Currently, 6 out of 10 European millennials consider climate change as the major global problem. Ideologies have different interpretations about climate change, conditioning supranational agreements and public policies for the energy transition. Nevertheless, it turns out that even in more conservative parties like the United States Republican Party, millennials are the generation most aware of the problems that climate change can cause. In this context, four personalities from different areas were interviewed in order to assess millennials as agents of change in terms of climate action. It was possible to conclude that millennials are the most conscious generation about the causes and consequences of climate change and the one that will cause disruptions in the interaction between political parties and the society.
