Resumo(s)
Este trabalho surge como epílogo de um processo de formação no domínio do Ensino de
Informática e que culminará com a obtenção do grau académico de Mestrado depois de o
apresentar e defender.
Depois de um percurso de dois anos de formação teórica e de uma experiência prática de
estágio pedagógico realizado no Colégio de Albergaria, de que faço referência obrigatória
também neste trabalho, decidi, levar por diante um estudo mais abrangente no âmbito do ensino
da informática, mais especificamente tentar perceber quais as implicações ao nível das
aprendizagens do uso de Tablets no contexto educativo.
Nesse sentido começamos por desenvolver uma primeira parte teórica onde procuramos
explanar no primeiro capítulo uma reflexão com base em algumas pesquizas bibliográficas sobre
o que significa ser professor. No segundo capítulo descrevemos a nossa experiência prática de
ensino supervisionada que realizamos no Colégio de Albergaria sobre a orientação da professora
Mafalda Castanheira. No terceiro capítulo apresentamos o nosso estudo empírico que
desenvolvemos no Colégio das Escravas no Porto, onde realizamos um estudo de caso com
crianças do pré-escolar, com idades compreendidas entre os 5 e os 6 anos, onde tentamos estudar
o benefício do uso de Tablets na aprendizagem deste grupo específico de crianças.
Em conclusão, os resultados obtidos no nosso estudo permite-nos afirmar que as crianças
demonstram muito interesse, motivação e aptidão, para a utilização de Tablets em contexto de
sala de aula/atividades.
This work is the epilogue of a training process in the area of ICT and which will culminate in a Master’s degree, after being presented and defended After a journey of two years of theoretical training and after the practise obtained through a pedagogical training in Colégio de Albergaria, to which I also had to make reference throughout this work, I decided to undertake a wider study in the area of informatics, more specifically, trying to understand what the implications of the use of tablets in the learning process are. Having this in mind, we started by developing a first theoretical part, in which we try to explain, in the first chapter, an opinion based in some bibliographic research, about what it means to be a teacher. In chapter two, we describe our practical experience during the training period in Colégio de Albergaria, under the orientation of the teacher Mafalda Castanheira. In chapter three, we present an empirical study developed in Colégio das Escravas in Porto, a case study with preschool pupils, aged between 5 and 6 years old, in which we tried to study the benefits of the use of Tablets in the learning process of this specific group. Summing up, the obtained results in our study allow us to state that children shoed interest, motivation and the needed skills for the use of tablets in a classroom context.
