| dc.description.abstract | O presente documento diz respeito ao Relatório de Actividade Clínica do 5º ano do Mestrado Integrado em Medicina Dentária, do Centro Regional das Beiras da Universidade Católica Portuguesa, que visa elencar e discutir os actos clínicos realizados pelo trinómio que integro, no período lectivo de 16 de Setembro de 2013 a 30 de Junho de 2014. Tem como objectivo descrever, apreciar e valorizar criticamente experiências e actividades desenvolvidas nas diferentes unidades lectivas com componente clinica. Estas permitem a articulação entre os conhecimentos teóricos adquiridos ao longo dos anos anteriores e a prática clinica “in Situ” nas diversas áreas de intervenção da medicina dentária possibilitando, ainda, um acompanhamento efectivo dos pacientes, desde o diagnóstico e plano de tratamento que permite o encaminhamento dos pacientes para as unidades lectivas específicas, assim como um follow-up a curto e médio prazo. Os pacientes serão encaminhados para as diferentes áreas, consoante as suas necessidades individuais, e caracterizados de forma geral segundo idade, sexo, habilitações literárias, profissão, doenças sistémicas e congénitas, medicação e cirurgias ou doenças prévias. A realização deste Relatório de Actividade Clínica permitirá, a partir da amostra analisada, uma caracterização da população que frequenta a Clínica Universitária, uma consciencialização da parte do aluno de como a componente médica da sua profissão é indescurável e, consequentemente, o aprofundamento dos conceitos teóricos previamente adquiridos é essencial à evolução da actividade clínica. De igual forma, permitirá identificar os problemas mais frequentes em contexto clínico e a forma de os resolver baseando-se no conhecimento médico e científico sem colocar de parte a vertente humana e social específica de cada caso ou paciente. | por |
| dc.description.abstract | The present document highlights the clinical activity report of the 5th year integrated master's degree in Dentistry taught in Centro Regional das Beiras of the Catholic University of Portugal, present in it is list and discuss of the clinical acts done by the group of which I have been part from the 16th of September 2013 to the 30 of June of 2014. The objective is to describe, apreciate, and criticaly evaluate the experiences and activities developed in the different academic subjects with a clinical component. These activities enable the connection between teoric knowledge aquired during the last years and the practice of “in situ” clinic in the different areas of intervention of dentistry, therefore allowing an effective escort of the patients to the specific academic subject matters and a short to medium follow-up. The patients are escorted throught the different areas according to their individual needs, they are then charaterized in a general way according to their age, sex, literacy, profession, sistemic and congenital dieseases, medication, surgeries or previous diseases. The elaboration of this Clinical Activity Report will allow, from the studied sample, a characterization of the population that enters the University Clinic and a student awareness in the importance of the medical component of his future profession, consequently, the in-depth learning of previously acquired theoretical concepts is essential to the progress clinical activity, Similarly, let identifying and solving clinical setting frequent problems based on scientific knowledge without ignoring the human and social side of each case or patient. | por |
