Abstract(s)
O “Comunicar é fácil” é um Programa de intervenção concebido para melhorar a comunicação funcional de jovens surdos, no domínio das relações interpessoais, em contextos informais da vida diária.
O presente estudo de investigação tem como objetivo perceber qual o impacto que o trabalho desenvolvido, no âmbito do Programa supracitado, tem na vida atual de dois jovens surdos que nele participaram. Para tal, procedeu-se à construção de um questionário de avaliação da eficácia do Programa.
Através da descrição e análise de dois Estudos de caso, e após a interpretação dos resultados obtidos no questionário, concluiu-se que a experiência que os jovens surdos tiveram no decorrer da participação no “Comunicar é fácil” foi importante para as suas vidas, numa perspectiva de interação social e comunicativa. Verificou-se também que os dois jovens utilizam, no seu dia-a-dia, com mais ou menos frequência, as estratégias de comunicação funcional aprendidas.
Paralelamente, através deste estudo de investigação, pretendeu-se validar o Programa de intervenção “Comunicar é fácil”, relativamente ao seu conteúdo. Um painel de peritos, constituído por oito Terapeutas da fala, procedeu à avaliação do Programa, com base em critérios pré-definidos. O cálculo do Índice de Validade de Conteúdo (0,975) permitiu concluir que existe um nível de concordância bastante elevado entre os especialistas avaliadores.
The “Comunicar é fácil” *It’s easy to communicate+ it’s an intervention program conceived to enhance the functional communication of deaf young people, on the interpersonal relationships domain, on the informal daily life contexts. This research study has as its main goal to understand the impact of the work developed, within the aforementioned program, in the life of two young deaf that are undergoing it. For that, it originated the creation of an evaluation survey of the program efficiency. Through the description and analysis of two case-studies and after the interpretation of the survey results, the conclusion was that the experience that the young deaf had while participating in the program “Comunicar é fácil” *It’s easy to communicate] was important to their lives, from a social interaction and communicative point of view. It was verified that the youngsters use, on their daily lives, with more or less frequency, the learnt functional communication strategies. Parallel to that, through this research study, it was intended to validate the program “Comunicar é fácil” *It’s easy to communicate], in what concerned its content. A panel of expert people, represented by eight Speech Therapists, proceeded to the evaluation of the Program bearing in mind pre-defined criteria. The calculus of the Content Validity Index (0,975) allowed to conclude that there is a great level of agreement among the evaluating specialists.
