| dc.description.abstract | O nosso estudo, intitulado “A Compreensão da morte: uma visão ética a partir da cultura Lomwe” pretende estudar a realidade da morte, numa perspetiva ética a partir da cultura lomwe. O trabalho está dividido em três capítulos, onde partimos de uma conceptualização e contextualização da morte, passando pela compreensão na Sagrada Escritura e no Magistério recente da Igreja, para finalmente assentar-nos na vivência cultural. No limite que nos impõe esta pesquisa chegamos à conclusão de que a morte é um problema que está presente em todas as culturas do mundo, nisto deve ser encarada e assumida como algo que está no meio da humanidade, e que só falta o dia em que a nossa vida termina para passarmos deste mundo visível para o mundo invisível. Por sua vez, cada campo de estudo traz o seu pensamento concernente a morte, mas única coisa que deve ficar claro é de que cada um de nós chegará o seu dia de partir deste mundo, ou seja, todos nós morreremos. Entretanto, apesar da morte que nos entristece, no pensamento bíblico, teológico temos a esperança na ressurreição dos mortos no último dia. Sendo assim, a veneração dos antepassados não é apenas a situação que é vivida na cultura lomwe, mas também em todas as culturas, mas é pertinente a tomada de consciência de que o único Mediador entre Deus e os homens é Jesus Cristo. | por |
| dc.description.abstract | Our study, entitled "The Understanding of Death: An Ethical View from the Lomwe’s Culture" aims to study the reality of death in the lomwe’s culture, from an ethical-theological perspective. Subdivided into three chapters, we start from a conceptualization and contextualization of death, passing through its understanding in Sacred Scripture and in the recent Magisterium of the Church, to finally settle on its understanding and experience in the Lomwe’s culture. To the extent that such an investigation is required of us, we have come to the conclusion that Death is a problem that is present in all cultures at this stage on Earth. It must be faced and accepted as something that is part of humanity and that the only thing missing is the day when our life ends and we pass from this visible world to the invisible world. In turn, each field of study brings its own thoughts concerning death, but the only thing that is clear is that each of us will reach the day when we leave this world, that is, we will all die. However, despite the sadness that death brings us, in biblical and theological thought we have hope in the resurrection of the dead on the last day. Thus, the veneration of ancestors is only a situation that is experienced in the Lomwe culture and other cultures, but it is pertinent to be aware that the only Mediator between God and men is Jesus Christ. | eng |
