e específicos, propostos no início do curso.
As actividades subjacentes proporcionaram experiências inovadoras
This document consists on the final report of the main and significant, and technicalprofessional academic experiences, experienced by Cláudia Cecília Farias Silva, finalist student of Specialization of a Post-Degree Course in Medical-Surgical Nursing with Professional Master Integrated, ministered under the aegis of the Portuguese Catholic University, Health Sciences Institute, Beiras Regional Center – Viseu. Beyond of serving as a facilitator element to the final evaluation, it will serve as a memory for future analysis and possible stimulus for theoretical deepening or starting point for the accomplishment of an investigation work. Over the Report, the thematical contents are exposed according the performed activities, including quoting of authors which books where carefully selected. The chapters were organised according the thematical areas underlying the general and specific objectives proposed in the beginning of the course. In the first chapter the Management theme is treated, beginning a generic focus, followed by Human Resources management, Materials Resources, Care, Risk and Quality management areas. The adjacent activities provided innovative experiences, and permission for the achievement of several activities in the training ambit, procedures achievement, improvement proposals, among others. In this and the following chapters the several themes were developed in direct correlation with the several course modules. The second chapter refers to the Care Provided. The two subchapters encompasses the Planning Execution and Evaluation of the Specialized Nursing Care, and the Prioritization with the Critical Patient. The objectives associated to these themes were the ones who presented a greater difficulty of full implementation, attending the services specificity and the differentiation of the clinical cases. The trainings were performed without compromise of the patients safety. The Communication, thematical area of a high importance for the nursing practice was included in the last chapter, to whom was associated the following subtitles: Communication with the Patient and Family; Communication within the Multidisciplinar and Interdisciplinar Team; and Multidisciplinar Team Training. As in previous themes, the Communication provided the achievement of activities that falling on the specialized nurses profile, providing moments of relevant human interactivity with the patients and families. In the chapter of the General Conclusions, was referenced a proposal for a possible improvement of the care management, where the same can provide the achievement of a possible investigation work
