Abstract(s)
desejam seguir Jesus Cristo.
The catechist is the principal agent of catechesis since he is the living catechism and the voice of the catechism of the Church and is also a christian called by God through the Church and on the other hand, the Church sends him to announce and witness the Gospel of Jesus Christ with words and deeds. Being a catechist is therefore, the fruit of a response of faith to the mission of Jesus Christ. For this reason, the formation of catechists is one of the primary concerns in the Church as a subject of the catechetical ministry. The formation seeks to enable catechists to transmit the Gospel to those who wish to follow Jesus Christ. The purpose of formation therefore, requires that the catechist is the most capable to perform an act of communication, as the essential objective of catechetical formation is to make fit for the communication of the Christian message.
