| dc.description.abstract | A aposta no Setor Cultural e Criativo (SCC) tem sido encarada como uma oportunidade de desenvolvimento económico e social que articula aspetos culturais, tecnológicos, económicos e sociais (FCT, 2014). A atração de talento e capital com base na criatividade e na propriedade intelectual estão na origem de produtos e serviços que estimulam um crescimento económico sustentável (Fundação Serralves, 2008). Medir o desempenho económico e social das atividades culturais e criativas tem sido uma preocupação de cada vez mais países de forma a decidir caminhos futuros que contribuam para um maior desenvolvimento (UNCTAD, 2013). | dc.description.abstract | The Cultural and Creative Sector (SCC) has been an opportunity for economic and social development. It articulates cultural, technological, economic and social aspects (FCT, 2014). The attraction of talent and capital based on creativity and intellectual property are at the origin of products and services that stimulate sustainable economic growth (Fundação Serralves, 2008). Measuring the economic and social performance of cultural and creative activities has been a concern for a growing number of countries in order to decide future paths that may contribute to a greater development (UNCTAD, 2013). This work intends to make an analysis of the sector's situation in Portugal based on data from official entities. | |
