O presente relatório pretende descrever e analisar as atividades desenvolvidas ao longo do estágio realizado no âmbito do Mestrado em Turismo, bem como salientar os comportamentos, atitudes e ações no contexto da hotelaria enquanto medidas cooperativas para a sustentabilidade ambiental, retirando-se perspetivas do lado do cliente e do lado do gestor. A sustentabilidade é um tema que tem ganho uma relevância cada vez maior a nível nacional e mundial, exigindo cada vez mais uma reflexão sobre as ações humanas no quotidiano que possam ter um impacto, quer por meio de produtos, serviços ou procedimentos e técnicas relacionadas no meio ambiente. O estágio foi realizado no EMAJ Boutique Hotel****, considerado um dos hotéis mais prestigiados de Guimarães e teve uma duração de 450 horas. Realizou-se entre o dia quinze de fevereiro até ao dia treze de junho do ano de 2023 com horários rotativos. O principal objetivo foi aplicar os conhecimentos na área de administração e gestão do Turismo em contexto empresarial, portanto optei pela realização do estágio em detrimento da dissertação. O estágio permitiu obter um maior conhecimento sobre o funcionamento de um hotel de luxo e ao mesmo tempo, avaliar o modo como a sustentabilidade pode e deve ser um elemento diferenciador no setor hoteleiro, tal como é defendido por diversos autores. Importa assim conhecer o contributo que a hotelaria pode dar nesse sentido, bem como entender, o que no caso do EMAJ Boutique Hotel****, tem sido feito.
This report aims to describe and analyze the activities developed throughout the internship carried out within the scope of the Master in Tourism, as well as highlighting behavious, attitudes and actions in the context of hospitality as cooperative measures for environmental sustainability and draw perspectives from the side of the client and the manager side. Sustainability is a topic that has gained increasing relevance at national and global level, increasingly requiring reflection on human actions in everyday life that can have an impact, whether through products, services or procedures and related techniques in the environment. The internship was carried out at EMAJ Boutique Hotel****, considered one of the most prestigious hotels in Guimarães and lasted 450 hours. It took place between February 15th and June 13th of 2023 with rotating schedules. The main objective was to apply knowledge in the area of tourism administration and management in a business context, therefore. I chose to carry out the internship instead of the dissertation. The internship allowed us to gain greater knowledge about the functioning of a luxury hotel and, at the same time, evaluate how sustainability can and should be a differentiating element in the hotel sector, as advocated by several authors. It is therefore important to know the contribution that the hotel industry can make in this regard, as well as understand what has been done in the case of EMAJ Boutique Hotel****.
