| dc.description.abstract | Hoje a Europa enfrenta grandes desafios, que tem na sua base as transformações sociais, com grandes implicações na Igreja cristã e no modo como se vive a fé. Os novos desafios neste início do terceiro milénio passam, por um lado, pela renovação das comunidades cristãs e compreensão do sentido sacramental do Batismo. Por outro lado, num tempo em que a Igreja tende a ser vista como uma “central de serviços”, o sacramento do Batismo vai perdendo a importância no seio do cristianismo. Num ambiente, cada vez mais secularista, é importante educar a partir do sentido dos sacramentos e, nomeadamente, o Batismo como o primeiro da iniciação cristã. A sua compreensão será relevante para refletir acerca da fé, no apontar novos caminhos que envolvam as estruturas eclesiais, as comunidades locais, mas também os novos movimentos eclesiais que, de certo modo, desviam a atenção do cristão, naquilo que é a “identidade cristã”. Perante uma realidade cada vez mais plural, surgem preocupações, nomeadamente na Europa, a que nova evangelização se prepara para responder, e desse modo, indicar caminhos de fé que iniciam quando se recebe o sacramento do Batismo. Este será um dos desafios a que a Igreja do século XXI, terá que enfrentar. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | Today Europe faces great challenges which is based on social changes with major implications on the Christian Church and in the way faith is lived. The new challenges, at the beginning of the third Millennium, involve, on one hand, the renewal of Christian communities and by understanding the sacramental meaning of the Baptism. On the other hand, at a time that church tends to be seen as a “service center”, the sacramento of Baptism is losing its importance within Christianity. In an environment, more and more secularist, it’s important to educate from the meaning of the sacraments and, particularly, the Baptism as the first of the Christian initiation. Its understanding will be relevant to reflect on faith, in pointing out new paths which envolve eclesial structures, local comunnities but also the new eclesial movements that somehow divert the attention of the Christian in what is the “Christian identity”. Facing an increasingly plural reality, concerns arise, particularly in Europe, to which the new evangelization is preparing to respond and, in this way, indicate paths of faith that begin when the sacrament of Baptism is received. This will be one of the challenges that the 21st century Church will have to face. | pt_PT |
