O artigo analisa as peças noticiosas sobre rádio saídas na revista Vida Mundial Ilustrada (1941-1946), publicação semanal generalista que atingiu 278 edições. A revista editou, no total, 131 páginas sobre a realidade nacional e internacional da rádio, incluindo uma secção própria (de novembro de 1943 a março de 1945), e em géneros noticiosos como entrevistas e notícias breves. Durante a II Guerra Mundial, a rádio desempenhou um papel importante no entretenimento e informação da população portuguesa, através da escuta de emissões internacionais, caso da BBC.
The aim of this chapter is to analyze the radio news edited in Vida Mundial Ilustrada (1941-1946), a weekly newspaper that reached 278 editions. The magazine published 131 pages about the reality of national and international radio and with various news genres in all editions, including a full-page section (between November 1943 and March 1945). During World War II, radio stations played an important role in the entertainment and information of the Portuguese population, mainly by listening to international broadcasts such as BBC.
