Este relatório de estágio insere-se no âmbito do Curso de Mestrado em Enfermagem, Especialização em Saúde Infantil e Pediátrica, da Universidade Católica Portuguesa do Porto. O presente documento corresponde à Unidade Curricular Estágio, incorporando três módulos de estágio, a saber: Módulo I – Saúde Infantil, realizado no Centro de Saúde Póvoa de Varzim; Módulo II – Serviço de Medicina e Cirurgia em contextos de Doença Aguda e Crónica, onde obtive a creditação por ser detentora de sete anos de exercício profissional em Pediatria; Módulo III – Neonatologia e Urgência Pediátrica, concretizados, no Hospital Pedro Hispano e no Hospital São João, num total de setecentos e cinquenta horas. Este relatório, para além de retratar a minha experiência profissional na área do internamento em Pediatria, visa descrever, de forma refletida, as atividades desenvolvidas ao longo do estágio realizado, tendo subjacentes objetivos traçados para a aquisição de competências inerentes ao Enfermeiro Especialista em Saúde Infantil e Pediátrica. Sendo as competências divididas em quatro domínios, respetivamente: Domínio da Prestação de Cuidados, Domínio da Gestão de Cuidados, Domínio da Formação e Domínio da Investigação. A metodologia utilizada para a elaboração do presente documento foi descritiva e reflexiva. Considero que os objetivos estabelecidos pelo Plano de Estudos do Curso foram concretizados e me proporcionaram a efetiva aquisição de competências inerentes ao Enfermeiro Especialista em Saúde Infantil e Pediátrica, indispensáveis para a minha formação pessoal e profissional como futura enfermeira especialista nesta área.
This internship report is within the scope of the Master's Degree in Nursing, Specialization in Pediatric and Child Health, the Catholic University of Porto. This document corresponds to the Internship Course, incorporating three-stage modules, namely: Module I - Child Health, held at the Center for Health Póvoa de Varzim; Module II - Medical and Surgical Service in contexts of Acute and Chronic Disease, where got the accreditation as the holder of six years of professional experience in Pediatrics; Module III - Neonatology and Pediatric Emergency, met at the Hospital Pedro Hispano Hospital and St. John, a total of seven hundred and fifty hours. This report, in addition to portray my professional experience in the internment in Pediatrics, aims to describe, so reflected the activities carried out along the stage, taking the underlying objectives established for the acquisition of skills inherent Nurse Specialist in Child Health and Pediatrics. Skills being divided into four areas, respectively: Care Provision Domain, Domain of Care Management, Domain Formation and Domain Research. The methodology used for the preparation of this document was descriptive and reflective. I believe that the goals set by the Syllabus of the course were met and gave me the effective acquisition of skills inherent Nurse Specialist in Child Health and Paediatrics, essential to my personal and professional development as a future nurse specialist in this area.
