Abstract(s)
O presente relatório tem como objetivo relatar, analisar e discutir casos clínicos subjacentes à formação no Mestrado Integrado em Medicina Dentária (MIMD) na Universidade Católica Portuguesa Centro Regional de Viseu (UCP) no decorrer do presente ano letivo.
A atividade clínica realizada no primeiro semestre foi efetuada na Universidade de Szeged (US), na Hungria no âmbito do programa de mobilidade ERASMUS+. A interação com realidades distintas obriga a que exista uma adaptação a novas técnicas, formas de trabalho e também a ajustar e aperfeiçoar a técnica de comunicação com um povo de cultura diferente. O semestre da mobilidade permitiu a recolha de dados relativamente a diferenças de métodos de trabalho realizados na clínica universitária. Neste relatório clínico pretende-se realizar uma análise acerca das diferentes realidades da Medicina Dentária em Portugal e na Hungria.
A forma de comunicação Médico/Paciente é outro tema abordado neste documento. Até que ponto a barreira linguística pode ser um problema para um tratamento com eficácia é outro item a ser discutido.
Na prática clínica de um Médico Dentista é importante que este tenha em vista uma boa resposta a nível médico, sem esquecer a parte social e a importância que esta tem para que exista um tratamento adequado para cada tipo de pessoa. Para que isto ocorra deve-se sempre ter em conta o seu enquadramento social para que seja encontrada a solução mais favorável e que proporcione ao paciente a melhor qualidade de vida possível, não esquecendo nunca a sua opinião.
This report aims to describe, analyse and discuss clinical cases underlying training to master's degree in Dentistry at the Catholic University of Viseu Regional Centre during the current school year. The clinical activity in the first semester was performed at the University of Szeged in Hungary under the Erasmus + mobility program. The interaction with different realities requires an adaptation to new techniques, ways of working and to adjust and improve the means of communication with people of different culture. The mobility semester allowed the collection of data of the differences in working methods undertaken in the university clinic. In this clinical report is to conduct an analysis on the different realities of dentistry in Portugal and Hungary. The form of communication Medical / Patient is another topic covered in this document. The possibility of the language barrier could be a problem for an effectively treatment is another item to be discussed. In clinical practice of a dentist it is important a good response to medical level, not forgetting the social part and the importance for an appropriate treatment for each type of person. The social environment of the patient must be respected and the most favorable solution should be found to provide the patient the best quality of life possible, never forgetting his opinion.
