Abstract(s)
O presente documento insere-se no âmbito da Unidade Curricular Estágio Final e Relatório do 12º Curso de Mestrado em Enfermagem com Especialização em Saúde Infantil e Pediátrica, da Universidade Católica Portuguesa (Porto). Trata-se de um relatório de estágio que evidencia as aprendizagens realizadas neste percurso formativo com rumo à aquisição das competências e cujos principais objetivos são o de documentar, de analisar e de refletir sobre situações problema decorrentes deste caminho na assistência especializada à criança e família. Ressalva-se o facto da minha experiência profissional assumir relevância neste percurso tendo-me sido, por isso, concedida a aquisição prévia de algumas competências na área de Enfermagem de Saúde Infantil e Pediátrica. As competências exigidas, e por uma questão de organização do documento, encontram-se agrupadas em quatro domínios de atuação: a prestação de cuidados, a formação, a gestão e a investigação. Com vista ao seu desenvolvimento e consequente aquisição, formularam-se objetivos, atingidos através da concretização de atividades, seguidos de uma análise crítico-reflexiva da ação, com fundamentação teórica à luz da evidência científica mais atual, que exigiu pesquisa bibliográfica, concedendo-lhe uma maior consistência, e, naturalmente, mobilização de conhecimentos e habilidades adquiridos ao longo do meu percurso pessoal, académico e profissional. Assim, para a concretização deste trabalho utilizou-se uma metodologia descritiva e crítico-reflexiva. O desenvolvimento deste processo ocorreu em diferentes contextos de estágio, no âmbito da Urgência Pediátrica, Neonatologia e Cuidados de Saúde Primários. A comunicação, a parceria de cuidados, a parentalidade, a promoção de Saúde Infantil e Juvenil e a dor são temas com especial enfoque no documento, e transversais aos diferentes contextos de estágio. A experiência levou-me a efetuar um balanço das experiências vivenciadas e a analisar as implicações para a prática profissional. Em suma, a realização deste trabalho reflete o percurso árduo até então, com vista à aquisição de competências do grau de mestre e Enfermeiro Especialista em Enfermagem de Saúde Infantil e Pediátrica, hoje por mim reconhecido como grande impulsionador da mudança, que visa a maximização da saúde da criança e família. Esta experiência foi vista, sobretudo, como um desafio, uma grande oportunidade e um contributo para a melhoria da qualidade e humanização dos cuidados prestados.
This document is part of the Curricular Unit Final Internship and Report of the 12th Master's Degree Course in Nursing, including Specialization in Child and Paediatric Health at the Universidade Católica Portuguesa (Porto). This internship report highlights what has been learned in this training path towards the acquisition of skills, with the main objective of analysing and to reflecting on problem situations arising from this path in specialized care for children and families. It is worth mentioning that my professional experience assumes relevance in this path and, hence, I was granted prior acquisition of some skills in the area of Child and Paediatric Health Nursing. The required competences, and as per the organization of the document, are grouped into four action areas action: the provision of care, training, management and research. Focused on the development and consequent acquisition, objectives were formulated, accomplished through numerous activities, following a critical and reflective analysis of the action, with theoretical basis in light of more current scientific evidence, requiring bibliographical research, granting it greater consistency, and naturally, mobilization of knowledge and skills acquired along my personal, academic and professional path. Thus, to carry out this work, a descriptive and critical-reflective methodology was used. The development of this process took place in different internship contexts, within the scope of Paediatric Emergency, Neonatology and Primary Health Care. The themes of communication, care partnership, parenting, the promotion of child and youth health and pain bear special focus in the document, transversal to the different internship contexts. The experience led me to review experiences undertaken and analyse the implications for professional practice. In short, the accomplishment of this work reflects the arduous path thus far, with a view of acquiring master's degree skills and becoming a Specialist Nurse in Child and Paediatric Health Nursing, currently seen by me as a great driver of change, aimed at maximizing child and family health. This experience was seen, above all, as a challenge, a great opportunity and a contribution to improving the quality and humanization of care provided.
