Abstract(s)
O relatório que apresentamos, surge no âmbito do plano de estudos do terceiro
Mestrado de Enfermagem com Especialização em Médico – Cirúrgica, levado a cabo pela Universidade Católica Portuguesa.
Os objectivos deste relatório são documentar toda a aprendizagem em campo de estágio,
a sua fundamentação através da pesquisa bibliográfica e também servir como
instrumento de avaliação na fase final do curso. Descreve um percurso de aprendizagem
enquanto aluna da especialidade, não só pelo desenvolvimento de competências definidas para o campo de estágio, mas também pela partilha de informação proveniente
da experiência profissional, contribuindo desta forma para o desenvolvimento
profissional das equipas onde estivemos inseridas, nomeadamente através da formação
em serviço. Apresentamos actividades centradas no cliente crítico e em situações mais complexas, dando ênfase à importância da prática baseada na evidência, para a
prestação de cuidados de qualidade, bem como as dificuldades sentidas, mais especificamente nos Sistemas de Informação em Enfermagem.
Apresentado sob a forma descritiva, resulta da pesquisa bibliográfica que fundamenta a
prática diária em contexto de estágio, da reflexão pessoal e crítica e sobretudo da
prestação directa de cuidados ao cliente do foro médico – cirúrgico. No contexto geral
de uma especialização em Enfermagem, traduz particularmente as competências
adquiridas em diferentes níveis de actuação, considerando os diferentes domínios
preconizados pela Ordem dos Enfermeiros: Domínio da prestação de cuidados gerais,
Domínio da prestação de cuidados especializados, Domínio da gestão de cuidados, Domínio da responsabilidade ética e legal e por fim o Domínio da gestão da qualidade.
Concluímos que o estágio proporcionou aquisição de conhecimento e também
desenvolvimento de habilidades para a prestação de cuidados diferenciados e globais ao cliente na área da Especialização em Enfermagem Médico – Cirúrgica. As páginas que apresentamos, constituem a descrição das actividades realizadas para dar resposta aos
objectivos pré-definidos em diferentes áreas de actuação: Enfermagem peri – operatória,
Serviço de Urgência e Unidade de Cuidados Intensivos, com realce à troca de
experiências e à abordagem directa do cliente em estado crítico.
This present report appears in the third syllabus of Nursing Master of Specialization in Medical - Surgical, promoted by the Catholic Portuguese University.The goals of this report are documenting all learning in the training field, its reasoning through literature research and also serving as an evaluation tool at the final stage of the course. It describes a learning path as a student of the specialty, not only by developing competencies defined for the training field, but also by sharing information from the experience, thus contributing to the professional teams in which we have participated, including the job training. We present activities focused on the critical patient and the more complex situations, emphasizing the importance of evidence-based practice in order to promote nursing care with quality as well the difficulties we have been through, specifically about Nursing Information Systems. This report relates the literature research which supports the daily practice in the training context, the personal reflection and criticism and above all the direct nursing care to the medical surgical patients. In the general context of the nursing specialization, it particularly translates the skills acquired in different levels of action, considering the different areas recommended by the Nurses Association: Scope of general care services, Scope of specialized care services; Scope of managing care services, Scope of legal and ethical responsibility and finally the Scope of quality management. We conclude that the stage have provided the knowledge and the skills to enable differentiated and global caring to each patient in Nursing Medical - Surgical specialization. The pages of this report describe all the activities we realized in order to validate the predefined goals in different areas as: Preoperative Nursing, Emergency Service and Intensive Care Unit, enhancing the exchange of experience and the direct approach to the critical patient.
