Esta nota de investigação analisa a influência dos assistentes eclesiásticos e dos militantes jecistas na organização e na eficácia da Juventude Escolar Católica (JEC) no período compreendido entre 1965 e 1970. Se, por um lado os assistentes eclesiásticos procuraram guiar e orientar o movimento estudantil, por outro os militantes encararam progressivamente como exigência reflectir sobre a identidade, o rumo e a evolução da JEC. Isto resultou em diferentes concepções do movimento apostólico e, consequentemente, na (re)definição da sua identidade.
This paper analyses the influence of the ecclesiastic assistants and the militants in the organization and efficiency of the Juventude Escolar Católica (JEC) between 1965 and 1970. On the one hand, the ecclesiastic assistants seek to guide the student’s organization, on the other hand the militants gradually look at a demand thinking about the identity, the course and the development of JEC. This resulted in different ideas about the significance of the apostolic movement and, therefore, in the (re)definition of its identity.
