A mulher em múltiplos papéis e os seus efeitos para o bem-estar psicológico e satisfação marital

| dc.description.abstract | Este estudo analisa o envolvimento da mulher em múltiplos papéis e as consequências para o Bem-estar Psicológico e a Satisfação Marital, percebendo como ela se estrutura para desempenhar os diversos papéis, mantendo o Bem-Estar Psicológico fundamental para lhe conferir estabilidade emocional e qualidade das respostas às exigências do dia-a-dia. O estudo foi suportado por um quadro teórico capaz de proporcionar uma compreensão sobre o tema e de sustentar cientificamente os resultados atingidos. Do ponto de vista metodológico, tratou-se de um estudo quantitativo correlacional, com base num questionário sócio-demográfico e nas escalas de Bem-Estar Psicológico, no Índice de Satisfação Marital e nas escalas de Qualidade de Papéis, aplicados a uma amostra de 60 mulheres, sob os critérios: ter um trabalho remunerado, ser mãe e casada. Os resultados obtidos permitem concluir que quanto maior for nível de satisfação no casamento e as recompensas com o trabalho remunerado maior é o nível de Bem-Estar Psicológico; a multiplicidade de papéis constitui um estímulo positivo e desafiante para a maturação e autonomia da mulher, sendo promotores de Bem-Estar Psicológico e de Satisfação Marital; na relação entre o desempenho de múltiplos e a Satisfação Marital, e as suas consequências para o Bem-Estar Psicológico, os resultados são inconclusivos numa possível correlação entre estes papéis e a Satisfação Marital. | dc.description.abstract | The study presented here analyses women’s involvement in several roles and its consequences for the Psychological Well-Being and Marital Satisfaction, trying to understand how they manage to carry out the various roles, while keeping the fundamental Psychological Well-Being that provides them emotional stability and allows them to provide quality responses to their daily demands. The study was supported by a theoretical background concerning the theme and scientifically supporting the results obtained. On the methodological point of view, this is a correlational quantitative study, based on a socio-demographic questionnaire and on the Psychological Well-Being scales, the Marital Satisfaction Index and the Role Quality scales, applied to a sample of 60 women, who meet the criteria: having a remunerated occupation, being a mother and being married. The results obtained allow one to conclude that the higher the levels of satisfaction in marriage and the rewards of the remunerated occupation are, the higher is the level of Psychological Well-Being; the multiplicity of roles becomes a positive and challenging stimulus for the maturing and autonomy of the women, being promoters of Psychological Well-Being and Marital Satisfaction; in the relation between the multiple role development and Marital Satisfaction and its consequences on Psychological Well-Being, the results are inconclusive in a possible correlation of these roles and Marital Satisfaction. The participants present a high index of Marital Satisfaction, contributing to their Psychological Well-Being. | en |
