Abstract(s)
O trabalho que aqui apesentamos é fruto de uma reflexão sobre a missão da Igreja no mundo, missão deixada por Jesus Cristo que compromete a todos os batizados em anunciar o evangelho do Reino de Deus fazendo o que o Senhor ensinou e gerando novos discípulos a sua Igreja (Mc 16,15; Mt 24,14). Assim sendo, reconhecer o catecumenado como um processo metódico e tradicional da Igreja que permite uma caminhada com sustentação e convicção para a adesão à fé católica e, consequentemente, o criar bases para um verdadeiro discipulado, é o nosso esforço. Para que os sacramentos de iniciação cristã, que são a porta de entrada e compromisso de vida que incorpora em cristo e a sua Igreja, sejam assumidos com seriedade implica necessariamente que eles sejam observados e com rigor.
The work we present here is the fruit of a reflection on the mission of the Church in the world, a mission left by Jesus Christ that commits all the baptised to proclaim the gospel of the Kingdom of God by doing what the Lord taught and generating new disciples for his Church, (Mc 16:15; Mt 24:14). Therefore, recognising the catechumenate as a methodical and traditional process of the Church that allows a journey with support and conviction for adherence to the Catholic faith and consequently the creation of bases for true discipleship is our effort. For the sacraments of Christian initiation, which are the gateway and commitment to life, which incorporates into Christ and his Church, to be something taken seriously, it necessarily implies that it be observed and with rigour.
