Abstract(s)
A liberdade, é um ponto crucial na vida de todos, liberdade essa que se viu condicionada devido à pandemia por Covid-19, com a fase de confinamento obrigatório foram vários anos de liberdade limitada, que jamais serão esquecidos. A pandemia não só condicionou a liberdade, como o bem-estar, o trabalho e a flexibilidade financeira. Este trabalho teve como objetivo apresentar uma reflexão sobre os efeitos económicos da pandemia de Covid-19 nos trabalhadores do teatro em Portugal, bem como apurar se os apoios fornecidos pelas entidades governamentais e não-governamentais foram suficientes para colmatar as necessidades destes mesmos trabalhadores. Foram definidas as questões de pesquisa e depois de serem analisadas várias estratégias metodológicas, optou-se pela realização de uma triangulação metodológica. Como primeira abordagem, foi realizado um inquérito por questionário, de forma a obter respostas de caráter quantitativo. Numa segunda abordagem, foi realizado um focus group, de forma a obter respostas de foro qualitativo e complementar a primeira abordagem. Foi possível apurar que a pandemia condicionou de forma notável os trabalhadores da área do teatro, em que houve dificuldades financeiras advindas da total paralisação do setor cultural, uma sensação geral de impotência e isolamento e que os apoios chegaram tardiamente e se revelaram insuficientes. A realização deste trabalho permitiu uma visão aproximada das dificuldades enfrentadas pelos trabalhadores do teatro em Portugal, durante o confinamento, bem como algumas melhorias que poderiam ter sido implementadas.
Freedom is a crucial point in everyone's life, freedom that was conditioned due to the Covid-19 pandemic, with the mandatory confinement phase there were several years of limited freedom, which will never be forgotten. The pandemic has not only conditioned freedom, but well-being, work and financial flexibility. This work aimed to present a reflection on the economic effects of the Covid-19 pandemic on theater workers in Portugal, as well as to determine whether the support provided by governmental and non-governmental entities was sufficient to meet the needs of these same workers. The research questions were defined and after analyzing several methodological strategies, it was decided to carry out a methodological triangulation. As a first approach, a questionnaire survey was carried out in order to obtain quantitative answers. In a second approach, a focus group was carried out in order to obtain qualitative answers and complement the first approach. It was possible to determine that the pandemic has notably conditioned workers in the theater area, in which there were financial difficulties arising from the total stoppage of the cultural sector, a general feeling of impotence and isolation and that support arrived late and proved to be insufficient. The realization of this work allowed an approximate view of the difficulties faced by theater workers in Portugal, during confinement, as well as some improvements that could have been implemented.
