O presente relatório surge no âmbito do Curso de Mestrado em Enfermagem com Especialização em Enfermagem Médico-Cirúrgica na Área de Pessoa em Situação Crítica. Este pretende demonstrar o percurso realizado ao descrever e analisar situações experienciadas e atividades desenvolvidas no contexto de prática clínica, no qual adquiri e desenvolvi competências de enfermeira especialista, no âmbito das Competências Especificas do Enfermeiro Especialista em Enfermagem Médico-Cirúrgica assim como ilustrar as Competências de Mestre.O estágio foi realizado num Serviço de Medicina Intensiva, sendo que foi desenvolvido em várias Unidades de Cuidados Intensivos inerentes ao serviço.Ao mesmo tempo, de forma a dar resposta às Competências de Mestre, foi desenvolvida uma Scoping Review, com o tema “Dificuldades que os enfermeiros sentem na comunicação de más notícias”. Através da sua realização e partilha no contexto de estágio e no V Seminário Internacional do Mestrado em Enfermagem, contribuiu para uma melhoria na prestação dos cuidados de enfermagem relativamente à comunicação de más notícias à pessoa em situação crítica e sua família, fomentando a importância da investigação na Enfermagem.
This report is part of the Master's Degree in Nursing with Specialisation in Medical-Surgical Nursing in Critical Care. It aims to demonstrate the path taken by describing and analysing the situations experienced and the activities developed in the context of clinical practice, in which I acquired and developed competencies as a specialist nurse, within the scope of the Specific Competencies of the Specialist Nurse in Medical-Surgical Nursing, as well as illustrate the Master's Competencies. The internship was carried out in an Intensive Care Medicine Service, and was developed in several Intensive Care Units inherent to the service. At the same time, in order to meet the Master's competencies, a Scoping Review was developed, with the theme "Difficulties nurses experience in the communication of bad news". Through its completion and sharing in the internship context and at the 5th International Seminar of the Master's Degree in Nursing, it contributed to improving the provision of nursing care regarding the communication of bad news to critically ill patients and their families, thus promoting the importance of research in nursing.
