Abstract(s)
O presente relatório de estágio surge no âmbito da Unidade Curricular: “Estágio Final e Relatório”, inserida no 16º Curso de Mestrado em Enfermagem com Especialização em Enfermagem de Saúde Infantil e Pediátrica, da Escola de Enfermagem do Instituto de Ciências da Saúde da Universidade Católica Portuguesa, no Porto. Constitui uma análise crítico-reflexiva de todo o percurso experienciado, pondo a descoberto não só os conhecimentos e competências adquiridas, mas também as dificuldades encontradas. Este documento estrutura-se em torno de experiências pessoais e subjetivas alicerçadas em fundamentações teóricas apoiadas na evidência científica mais recente. Resulta de aprendizagens em vários contextos de estágio, nomeadamente numa Unidade de Cuidados Intensivos Neonatais, num Serviço de Urgência Pediátrica Polivalente, em Cuidados de Saúde Primários e num Serviço de Internamento Pediátrico Médico-Cirúrgico. Neste trabalho encontram-se espelhadas as competências exigidas por este ciclo de estudos para a obtenção do grau de Mestre em Enfermagem, com especialização em Enfermagem de Saúde Infantil e Pediátrica, bem como os objetivos e atividades desenvolvidas com vista à sua concretização. Numa tentativa de tornar mais fácil a interpretação do conteúdo que aqui se afigura, as competências foram agrupadas por domínios de atuação: Domínio da Prestação de Cuidados, Domínio da Formação, Domínio da Gestão e Domínio da Investigação. Ao longo do estágio, emergiram diferentes áreas de especial pertinência para a assistência e da estrita competência do Enfermeiro Especialista em Enfermagem de Saúde Infantil e Pediátrica, pelo que se encontram aqui também exploradas de forma particular, tais como: a assistência à criança e à respetiva família na maximização da sua saúde e na gestão de situações complexas, tendo em conta a fase de desenvolvimento da criança e do jovem; a gestão de cuidados especializados e dos recursos de Enfermagem; a investigação na respetiva área de especialidade e a promoção do processo formativo, quer pessoal, quer de outros profissionais.
The present internship report appears within the scope of the Curricular Unit: “Final Internship and Report”, included in the 16th master's degree in Nursing with Specialization in Child and Pediatric Health Nursing, at the Nursing School of the Institute of Health Sciences of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa - Porto. This report constitutes a critical-reflexive analysis of the entire journey experienced, exposing not only the knowledge and skills acquired but also the encountered difficulties. This document is structured around deeply personal and subjective experiences firmly grounded in theoretical foundations supported by the most recent scientific evidence. It results from learning experiences in various internship contexts, namely in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, a Multipurpose Pediatric Emergency Service, in Primary Health Care and a Medical-Surgical Pediatric Inpatient Service. Here are reflected the skills required by this study cycle to obtain the Master's degree in Nursing, with specialization in Child and Pediatric Health Nursing, as well as the objectives and activities developed to achieve them. In an attempt to facilitate the interpretation of the content presented here, the skills have been grouped into domains of action: domain of care provision, domain of training, domain of management and domain of research. Throughout the internship, several areas of action were addressed, within the competence of the Specialist Nurse in Child and Pediatric Health Nursing, such as: assistance to the child and their family in maximizing their health and managing complex situations, taking into account the child and young person’s developmental stage; management of nursing care and resources; research in the respective specialty area and promotion of the formative process, both personal and for other professionals.
