Mulheres solteiras ou com parceiro feminino que recorrem a técnicas de PMA : quem são? : uma scoping review

| dc.description.abstract | O presente trabalho, tem como objetivo contribuir para sintetizar e aprofundar os conhecimentos sobre as características sociodemográficas e o bem-estar psicológico/emocional de mulheres solteiras e mulheres com parceiro feminino que recorrem a serviços de PMA, utilizando uma scoping review (ScR) da literatura. Existe bastante investigação com casais heterossexuais, destacando como o processo de PMA pode pôr em causa o bem-estar psicológico de ambos, sublinhando a necessidade de acompanhamento adequado, nomeadamente da Psicologia. Em Portugal e em alguns países a lei que possibilita mulheres solteiras e mulheres com parceiro feminino recorrerem a serviços de PMA é recente. Importa então aprofundar o conhecimento sobre as suas características. Uma scoping review parece ser então uma boa opção de sistematização da informação, clarificação de conceitos e abrir caminho para investigação futura. Esta ScR revelou um total de 10 trabalhos, abordando características sociodemográficas e do bem-estar psicológico/emocional deste grupo de mulheres. Os resultados apontam para que estas mulheres têm idades acima dos 30 anos, mantiveram-se no percurso académico por mais tempo, têm uma vida mais estável. Apenas três estudos se debruçam sobre saúde mental, sendo que a maior parte destas mulheres reportam resultados positivos sobre a mesma. Este trabalho seguiu as normas internacionais para a realização de uma ScR da Joanna Briggs Institute. Considera-se essencial a continuação da investigação sobre o tema. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | The aim of this study is to contribute to the synthesis and deepening of knowledge about the sociodemographic characteristics and psychological/emotional well-being of single women and women with female partners who use MAR services. To this end, a scoping review of the literature will be conducted. There has been a lot of research into heterosexual couples, highlighting how the MAR process can compromise the psychological well-being of both man and woman, so there is a greater need for follow up. In Portugal and in some countries, the law that allows single women and women with a female partner to use MAR services is recent, so it is important to deepen our knowledge of their sociodemographic characteristics and psychological/emotional well being. A scoping review therefore appears to be an appropriate methodology for the systematic organisation of information, the clarification of concepts and the facilitation of future research. The ScR yielded a total of 10 papers that provide insight into the sociodemographic characteristics and psychological/emotional well-being of the group of women in question. The results demonstrate that these women are over 30 years of age, have engaged in further education for a longer period of time, and have a more stable life. Only three studies have focused on this area of mental health, and these women report positive results. This study was conducted in accordance with the standards set forth by the Joanna Briggs Institute for conducting a ScR. Further research on this subject is considered essential. | pt_PT |
